Our Mission

To turn seekers into disciplers in community.

We accomplish this mission when we:
• Invite people to a loving community,
• Offer a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ,
• Develop authentic examples of Christian character &
conduct, and
• Mobilize teams for ministry in the church and mission in
the world.

Our Core Values

• Spiritual seekers matter to God, so they matter to us.
• Personal prayer is the key to spiritual and societal renewal.
• The Bible is culturally relevant and personally transforming
for modern people.
• Every follower of Christ is a minister of Christ.
• Authentic faith in Christ is expressed in personal witness
and social activism.
• Whole-hearted devotion to Christ is normal for the believer.
• Life-change happens optimally in the context of a small
group.
• Excellence honors God and inspires people.
Since 1994, Small Groups have been the very heart of New
Horizon. We’ve laughed, cried, studied the Bible, prayed, loved,
supported, encouraged, watched movies, eaten popcorn, had fun
and shared life together. Through Small Groups, we develop
relationships that are meaningful and real. Because our lives
have been touched so deeply by Small Groups, we are excited
that you are considering checking them out! If you’d like to find
a group, you can use this catalog to select a group based on the
focus of the group and day of the week that works best for you.
Then call or email the Small Group Leader to find out more about
the group and get directions to the meeting. Also, if you look
through this entire catalog and you feel God is leading you to
form a group with a different focus, please contact Teresa Pratt
at dapratt@cawi.org.

But I am giving you a new command. You must love each other, just
as I have loved you. If you love each other, everyone will know that
you are my disciples.

Dangerous Men—led Andy Miller

Saturdays, 7am at Panera on Neil

Jesus lived His life on the wild side. He refused
to be tamed. His lifestyle of limitless love was
dangerous. We believe men today are called to
live a similarly dangerous lifestyle… passionate,
alive and free to love God and love others
ferociously and fearlessly. God designed men to
be dangerous in the best sense of the word. We
strive to live lives of more faith and less fear,
ruggedly advancing God’s kingdom by seeking
his unique call to us and our unique bond as men
of faith. We meet for fellowship, study and to
challenge each other to be more like Jesus.

Thank you for checking out the groups offered through

New Horizon. If you have any further questions, or need
assistance in choosing a group, please contact Teresa Pratt
at dapratt@cawi.org or the church office at 359-8909.
