IE11isnotyetcertifiedinanyguise.Weareworkingonremovingtheneedtousecompatibilitymode
withthisbrowserandthereforethetestinghasbeengearedtothisnewarchitecture.Wehavepreviously
doneasmallamountofchecksusing'compatibilitymode'whichwastherequirementforIE10andtoa
lesserextentIE9andinprinciplethisshouldworkinasimilarmannerwithIE11on12.1.3asit
overcomeslaunchandotherdisplayissues.Howeversupportofthiscombinationwouldcomeunderthe

OncewereleasetheEBSserversidepatchesrequiredforIE11compatibility,weexpectthatIE11will
workwithouthavingtoenableanyspecialmodesatthedesktoplevel.Specifically,wewouldexpectthat
EBS+IE11willnotrequireEnterpriseMode.
SincesettingthosespecialmodeswillnotberequiredtoworkwiththeEBusinessSuite,wewould
considerthosetobetreatedlikenonstandardcustomizationsandthirdpartysoftware.Ifyoureportany
unusualeffectsfromsettingthosemodes,youwilllikelybeadvisedtosetIEbacktoitsdefaults.

aspartofournextEBS12.2update,andhavebeenbuildingIE11supportintothatrelease.We'venow
completedtheUIenhancementsandcodechangesforEBS12.2andthebackportshavebeencompleted
forEBS12.1.We'retestingthoserightnow.
