This is in reference to your application and subsequent interview for the career opportunity with EMC IT
Solutions India Private Limited.
Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you employment as Software Engineer. You will be based out of
Hyderabad
Appointment
You will be liable to be transferred/deputized in such capacity as the Company may from time to time
determine, to any other location, department, function, establishment or any other
Companies/Concerns/Organizations/Firms with whom the Company may make such arrangement or
agreement. In such case, you will be governed by the terms and conditions of service applicable to the new
assignment.
Salary
Your compensation is targeted at a "Total Earning Opportunity" of INR 1136820/- (Eleven Lakhs Thirty Six
Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Rupees Only) per annum. In addition to your compensation, we have
designed the EMC Benefits Program to provide a holistic total value proposition. While benefits are intangible,
some of them have been quantified and the cumulative value is INR 51102/- (Fifty One Thousand One Hundred
and Two Rupees only) per annum. Details of the compensation package and the benefits offered are set out
under the "Compensation Package" section.
Rules and Regulations
You shall, in addition to the terms and conditions of employment specifically stated herein and the EMC Key
Employee Agreement and Business Conduct Guidelines, also be governed by the rules, regulations, and such
other practices, systems, procedures, and policies framed, amended, modified or omitted by the Company
from time to time. You will also be governed by statutory laws enacted by the Central or State Government or
local authorities as may be applicable to you from time to time. As a condition of this offer and your
employment with EMC, you must review the Key Employee Agreement and Business Conduct Guidelines
acknowledge your agreement to abide by the terms set forth in these documents.
Notice Period
Youu will have a notice period of Sixty (60) Days.

Termination
We hope your association with us will be a very long one. However, if you or the Company decides otherwise,
the appointment may be terminated, as per the notice period days or on payment of basic salary, FBP and
medical reimbursement in lieu of notice which will be strictly at the Company's discretion.
The Company reserves the right to terminate your employment summarily without notice or payment in lieu
of notice if it has reasonable grounds to believe that you are guilty of misconduct or negligence, or have
committed any breach of the terms and conditions of this offer. Termination of your employment under this
sub-paragraph shall be without prejudice to: The Company's right to claim the actual damages it has suffered
through this breach; and any other relief to which the Company may be entitled under contract, law, or equity.
Misconduct will include without limitation: Absence from service without prior notice in writing or without
sufficient cause for seven days or more; Going on or abetting a strike in contravention of any law; or causing
damage to the property of the Company; your engaging in any act of dishonesty, fraud or misrepresentation;
(iii) your violation of any law or regulation applicable to EMCs business; (iv) your breach of the Key Employee
Agreement or Business Conduct Guidelines; or (v) your being convicted of any crime or committing any act of
moral turpitude.
Taxation
The Company shall withhold the appropriate amount of Indian income taxes from the salary paid to you. You
shall be responsible for filing your personal returns and comply with other requirements under the India tax
laws.
No Restriction to Work for EMC
EMC is extending you this offer based upon your general skills and abilities and not your possession of any
confidential or proprietary information belonging to your current employer. Should you decide to accept this
offer, EMC requires that you do not disclose any such information or bring any materials belonging to any
former employer. Further, you represent and warrant to EMC that you are not bound by any restriction or
covenant not to compete that would prevent you from performing your expected job duties at EMC from the
first day of employment.
Relocation Expenses and Notice Period Reimbursement
The Company will reimburse for your relocation expenses as per the Company relocation policy applicable for
employees relocating within India. The relocation assistance is not automatic. It should have been discussed
and agreed upon during the HR interview. This package is applicable only to those candidates who are
relocating from current location to another, at the request of the Company, and should be claimed within
45days of joining.
The Company will pay for your Notice pay recovery if any, as agreed during the HR interview. Should you
choose to leave the Company before the completion of 12 months of employment, you will be liable to return
all the expenses incurred during relocation and notice period inclusive of taxes to the Company in full OR the
Company will reserve the right to deduct the same from any outstanding amounts payable to you at the time
of final settlement.
