Safe Work Procedure:

1)

Falling From Height

-

Supervisor to check the site condition and submit permit to work.

To ensure the above mention PPE is in good condition before use.
Proper access ladder and working platform to be provide
Workers to wear safety belt or safety harness and to anchor to the handrail or to
installed braket during working at height.
- Worker must check the condition of the scaffolding before climbing on it,
even if there was a signage display "Safe To Use"
- Atlist one person to hold the A-Ladder for the other person to work at the
three top most step of ladder cannot be use.
- Supervisor to educate and to have more frequent checking on the worker using
ladder.
2)

Hit By Falling Object

-

Remove any loose materials on working platform.

No throwing of materials from height.
Do not overload the working platform.
Supervisor to ensure before completion of work everyday A-Ladder or movable
mobile scaffolding to keep away from the edge of the building or slab opening.
- Supervisor to ensure all tools and materials are clear from the working area
at the end of the day.

Electrical Hazard

Ensure all the electrical hand tools is in good condition.

All electrical tools are inspected by LEW.
No illegal tapping of electrical power supply.
Worker to ensure the socket to be use are approved type by the main contractor.

Health Hazard
- To use the ear plug in the noise area.
- To use safety goggles during painting, grinding, drilling, cutting, while using any
electrical machine tools that involves in ducting installation.
- To wear safety mask while painting drilling and doing house keeping.
- Suitable cleanser or clean water should be place near the worker incase of
paint contact.

Proper coordination during work.
Do not removed safe guard provided in the cutting machine.
Proper posture when lifting materials.
Deploy sufficient manpower to assist and carrying the materials.
Use proper lifting equipment eg. Palet Jack, Chain Block, etc. to assist in the
lifting load.

Fire Hazard
- Worker is not allowed to smoke while painting is in progress.
- Only train person to allowed to perform the work.
- Flammable materials should never be placed in close proximity to electrical
equipment.
- Do not use faulty electrical tools.
- Always unplug the tool if need to go for break.

Safe Work Procedure:

1)

Falling From Height

- Do not overload the hanging stage.
- Rigger man to ensure the sling are of good condition, suitable for materials,
adequate strength and free from patent defect.
- Rigger man to ensure the load to be lifted is secure, stable and balance.

Hit By Falling Object

Lifting supervisor, rigger man and Kurihara supervisor to ensure the site condition.
Kurihara supervisor to submit "Permit to Hoist"
Qualified lifting supervisor, rigger man, signal man must have a valid certificates
Qualified lifting supervisor to ensure that all valid certificates for crane / lifting
gear with the presence of number tag.
Do not overload the lifting equipment.
No workers to allowed to enter into the swing area of boom crane.
Ensure lifting hooks provided with safety hooks.
Qualified lifting supervisor to brief the rigger man & signal man on the lifting
operation and the safety aspects of the lifting.
Qualified lifting supervisor to ensure the lifting gears are of good conditions and
safe for lifting operation.
All personnel shall put on reflective vest during night time hoisting.

- Out rigger of the lorry crane, mobile crane to be fullly extended and rested in the
firm ground.
