courseincludestwomaincomponents:CompositionandLiterature.

Composition:includesthesuccessfulcompletionofaresearchbasedproject,as
wellaswritingassignmentsshowingevidenceandcreativity.Writing
assignmentsmaybelinkedtoworksofnonfiction,fiction,poetry,etc.

Literature:willincludesegmentsofcomposition(e.g.writingassignments.)
However,theprimaryfocusoftheliteraturecomponentwillbethestudyoffiction
andnonfictionexcerptsforthepurposeofstrengtheningreadingcomprehension
skills.
