Students wishing to go to the toilet during an exam will be escorted by the exam supervisor. It is expected
that students should make arrangements before they enter the exam room so they will not need to leave at
any stage.
Students will not be allowed to leave for the toilet in the first 30 minutes and the last 30 minutes of
the examination.

Students who are LATE FOR AN EXAM will enter the exam room on arrival and use the remaining time to

o Exceptional circumstances may be considered but these will be regarded on the same basis as
the NSW Board of Studies. Misreading an exam timetable is not considered a sufficient excuse.

Students who are sick during an exam are advised to obtain a medical certificate immediately upon
completing the exam. Special consideration in the marking stage will only be granted on presentation of

Any student absent for an exam must obtain a MEDICAL CERTIFICATE. The student should:
o Attend school on the first day he is well and organise an alternative time to complete the task. He
should attend regardless of whether he has an exam on that day. He SHOULD NOT wait until
the day of his next scheduled exam as the Medical Certificate may not cover him for that period.
