MCA ADMISSION NOTICE(LATERAL ENTRY) : 2014-15

Applications are invited for admission to MCA-IInd Year (IIIrd Semester) under Lateral
Entry scheme in the Department of Computer Science & Applications, K.U. Kurukshetra
(20 seats). Candidates who have passed B.Sc.(Comp. Sc.)/B.Sc.(I.T.)/B.C.A with 50%
(45% for SC/ST), are eligible for this course. Admission will be made on the basis of
merit of qualifying examination. The application form can be downloaded from the
university website and the same can be submitted alongwith Demand draft for Rupees
600/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in favor of Registrar, Kurukshetra
University Kurukshetra, payable at Kurukshetra. Last date for receipt of Application
Form in the office of Chairperson, Department of Computer Science & Applications,
Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra is 25-Jul-2014 (4 P.M.). Candidates please note the
following.

Admissions will be made through counselling, to be held on 05-Aug-2014.

Merit list will be prepared for counselling on the basis of qualifying exam.

Venue for Counselling is Department of Computer Science and Application, K.U.K.

Candidates must physically present on counselling day i.e. 05-Aug-2014 with all Original
documents and one set of xerox copy.

The leftover vacant seats (if any), will be filled up on 13-Aug-2014 from the same merit list

of first counselling.
