Students to copy information from the powerpoint defining the
elements of weather and climate.

Student to come up to the ICT board and locate the features of
wind speed and wind direction.
Worksheet 2 students to Identify the wind speed and wind
direction of a location on a synoptic chart using the key/
legend. Students can work with the student beside them.

Students to colour in world climate patterns identifying the
climatic zones. Students to also discuss the role of the broad
rainfall zones of the world.
Students to also to analyse the role of ocean currents and its
effect on climate.

lesson.
