The story is all about a young boy named Dodong, he was seventeen,
thinking himself a man grown and can do anything he wants, son of a silent
hardworking farmer living near a farm. In the story, Dodong wanted to marry
Teang, his girl at his very young age. His father agreed and they had been
married. Teang give birth to BLAS and after successive years, their children
are in creased. Blas at the age of eighteen also wanted to marry Tona
The social issue there is that EARLY MARRIAGE, I think lack of guidance
of the parents contributes to early marriage. Early marriage is a poor state
that a human will be interfering with nowadays. From an early age we meet
other people including our opposite sex, communicating and developing
feelings. This can be caused by disobeying our parents and not listening to
elders advice. Certain teenager is much focus on their peers and partners
than to their studies.
I think, the effect of early marriage in the story is POVERTY, because a
teenager couple cant finish and graduate on school so they will always
learning to their parents. They are not well given knowledge about marriage
so after they marry, it can lead towards difficult marriage life it includes
misunderstanding and financial problems.
For me, early marriage is not that easy and we must thinks first before
deciding such things, we cant bring back time if we made a wrong decision.
Just always think that you are not living with a beautiful world but you are
living with a colorful, difficult and a full of decision world. Just put God first
and everything you will do will be fine.

The story is about the person who fall in love and he got married at the
young age his name is Dodong, he was seventeen years old, the issue of this
story is about premarital sex
Premarital sex is a common/social issue in our generation, it is an
activity practiced by people who are unmarried, most specially teenager they
having a sex at very young age and most of them they cannot finish their
studies because of these issue. For me its not bad to have a
boyfriend/girlfriend unless they know there limitation, its not that if you love
a person you give them everything in your life. I saw in this generation many
of those teenager many of those teenager they do this in a different
occasions like birthday, Monthsary, Anniversaries etc. instead of giving gifts
they give sex for the person they love, or anytime they want to do it. But
they cannot imagine the difficulties and sacrifices of their parents. They
sacrifice to their child to give them a good education

The story is about a teenage boy named Dodong who wanted to marry
Taeng at the age of seventeen. His father was a silent hardworking farmer
who looked old, he also thought of himself as a grown man who was free to
do anything he wanted. But when Dodong spoke out about his plan to marry
Taeng his father kept on gazing at him in silence. After their conversation, his
father finally agreed to let him marry Taeng. As years passed by, he already
has a child named Blas who also like him at an early age wanted to marry a
girl named Tona when he was just eighteen years old.
The Social Issue in this story is about Early Marriage which I think is
one of the major problems on our society nowadays. Also parent is the most
special person we should obey, they know what is best for us but because of
some reason, we never knew that our decisions make them imperfect and
we disobeyed them because of selfishness. In that case, the parent needs to
follow the children in order for them to be happy though they are felt forced
and hurt inside. But in due time when same situation happens to them they
will realized the feeling of being insensitive to a parent.
And without even knowing that because of these wrong choice we
commits mistake the unplanned marriage is a very good example of this
responsibility has to be shouldered at a very young age, drudgeries of
married life can get to you and unplanned pregnancy is even tougher too.
The family will become bigger and bigger and theres a lot if lack to be
experienced. And for some instance, what happens to you before is unlucky
to happen also. And it is said to be that repentance is always late.

EARLY PREGNANCY -Teang, was giving birth at early age and she was
pained at all because she delivered a child at early eighteen. In the story,
Early Pregnancy is the issue because Dodong didn't think first about what will
going to happen when he got Teang pregnant, He just think about how much
he love teang. And never think whatsgonna happen in the future. In order to
prevent early pregnancy, teenagers must need to have a comprehensive,
understanding of obstinence. Beware of situations, like a group of friends
drinking or taking drugs and to those friends who try and pressure you into
having sex. The best thing to do is to listen and learn from your parents
about their life experiences. If they put restrictions on you don't think that
you're not important and/or they don't love you they just do it because its for
your own good and they know what is best for you.
EARLY MARRIAGE -Dodong and Teang get married at early age and they
build a family for their own decision because of love, They live together
having 6/six children. Now a day's youth are getting married at the age of
15-18 years old because of love, Based from my opinion Love is not always a
basis to get married at a young age because if you love someone (male or
female) you need to wait and respect each other and be open minded or
think about the possibilities to happen. Because behind those things that
they have done before there's a possibility that their children would adopt
and engage those things that are not totally good to them due to their age
and they have no deeper understanding in engaging sexual activity. And it
would cause their family to be broken.

how to adjust to their husband rural lifestyle the senses of love
compatible with a partner from a rural area.
The story contained such values that we should have or we can
also be able to relate it to our daily lives and especially when we have
to meet our special someone to our family

The social issue reflected in the story is all about EARLY MARRIAGE same as
the character Dodong he got married to Taeng at a very young age of seventeen.
This is generally happen right now, many people got married at a young age
because they want it without even thinking what will happen in the present and also
because of their utterly love to each other because of these many people who got
married at a minor age regret of what happen now because they even know how to
plan for their future. Such like Dodong and then his son Blas was also like to do the
same he want also to marry Tona at a young age without even thinking also what
happen in the future.
Because of these Dodong is keep on blaming himself of what happen right
now and he didnt want to happen it again to his son blas.
So that we need to think first of the advantages of our decision to avoid
blaming ourselves of what happen right now.

Early Marriage in the story a young person who got married, his name is
Dodong, a seventeen years old man who fall in love at the young age.

The social issue is about EARLY MARRIAGE this situation is common

in our generation especially in teenager. Most of this issue affects their
family, because some of them are not ready to be a parent. Many
youth that are married today are dependent to their parent because of
lack of experiences about handling a family. Just like Dodong, he is a
very selfish little young boy because he followed his decision to marry
Teang. For me early marriage is not a proof to others to see that you
are now a matured and real man, real man or matured man always
think what is right and wrong. In todays generation many youth are
become a parents because of their curiosity in the things that surround
them, so be responsible and make a way to dont go on a relationship
bond, or married life in an early age.
