Mesh To Solid

I have another Mesh to Solid question. We have the need to convert a mesh of the inside of a
tunnel to Solid.
I can Thicken Mesh to Volume perfectly but this Volume will not then convert to Solid, as
needed.
I can Convert Mesh to Surface but then this surface wont Thicken to Solid.
Any other ways of getting mesh into a solid format? I see all the Mesh cleaning tools but i dont
really know what they do, what to look for when carrying out a 'clean'!?!!
With your first method you mention it "will not then convert to Solid, as needed", are you using
the ' Convert to Solid ' tool with the tool setting ' Convert To:Smart Solid '?
Yes exactly that. The Mesh is selectable which implies the right tool and the tool can do it, but it
tries for a short while and then states that its not able to do it
Another method you could try is having converted the meshes to surfaces, is to stitch these
surfaces together using the 'Stitch Surfaces' tool, then use the Convert to Solid tool.
The Mesh is already one single piece of 'tube' mesh...
OK, a couple of other methods to try 1. Keyin ' Convert Brep ' and select the mesh.
2. File > Export > Parasolids and select the mesh, then File > Import > Parasolids to bring back in.
