As a Marketing graduate, I believe my strongest attributes to be organisation


and implementation of ideas. I have enjoyed studying a varied degree,

Evaluation of Creative Advertising

Digital Marketing Planning

This unit was a creative group task. We were


asked to redesign a multi-channel ad campaign for
TukShop, and evaluate impact on consumers. As a
team we developed a creative brief, budgeting
strategy, promotional strategy, a print advert and
a campaign evaluation. We then had to present
the idea to our tutors. For this campaign we
received a 1st class grade.
During this module we were asked to put
Southampton Solent University on the map. I
conducted an internal and external evaluation of
the organization and then created and critiqued
my own digital marketing plan. In the subject I
gained a 2:1.

Final Major Project

For our FMP we were hired by a client (Itchen


Abbas Primary School) to improve their school
website. For this project I had the role of Project
Manager. We had to produce a website proposal,
whilst updating our client on progress. In April we
presented our ideas to the client. It was
commented that our presentation was in-depth
and covered everything she was looking for.

PRINCE2 (not the professional accreditation)

We studied the PRINCE2 methodology of Project


Management. Although I did not take the
professional accreditation, I did an exam of the
same standard where I scored 64% overall. I
found this subject interesting and I believe I would
use this method in a live project. In the future I
would be keen to take the professional exam.
This unit involved writing detailed strategic
analysis of Sainsburys as part of a strategic
review. In my feedback my lecturer commented

COMMUNICATION

As a result of previous work experiences and while attending university I have


developed excellent communication skills. This has allowed me to successfully relay
information in both verbal and written communication methods.
Throughout university I have had many presentation based assessments;
individually and as a team. This has given me confidence while speaking publically,
as well as developing my verbal communication skills to a high standard.
My writing styles have been enhanced by writing reports, essays and conference
papers during university. I have also started to write a personal blog which can be

TEAM WORK

At university I regularly worked in teams as part of assignments. During team work


I would frequently take on the role of project manager, this helped enhance my
listening and communication skills with others.
