Jung Typology and DISC Personality Test Brief Results Analysis
The Jung Typology Test is a questionnaire that helps to identify the most prevalent personality characteristics for an individual. The results for this assessment categorized me as an ENTJ (Extraverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging) person. Overall, I am the most extraverted at 44% of my personality, I am 38% Intuitive, 1% Thinker, and a 25% Judger. These results have not been surprising at all. I have no problem putting myself out into a crowd. If a group needs to be organized to make a plan to help move things forward, I am generally the person who is called upon to help make this happen. Even though I do like to have an idea of the direction that I am taking, I like to use my instincts to help navigate through a situation. The results of the Jung Typology Test are ones that I can agree with. The other self-assessment that taken DISC Personality Report produced results, again, those were not surprising. My results were as follows Dominance (50%), Influence (30%), Steadiness (13%) and Compliance (7%). After this weeks core assignment, and other assessments that have been taken, it has come to my attention that I am a dominant person. I knew that to be true, because I have been told that I some times come off as aggressive. However, I view this as assertive and confident about knowing what I want. I do not view being domain as being a poor thing, but rather one that will help prevent me from being taken advantage. As well, being dominate and not willing to consider will hopefully allow me to not compromise to fit the needs of others, but rather negotiate to help satisfy my needs as well as the opposite party.
