The prospecting lot E51
Wolf 1, a part of the Wolf
prospecting works, covers
the tunnels which were dug
through traditional techniques
like
primary
strengthening and bituminous lane, including every
secondary
works
(yard
connection, creation and
equipment of the yard areas
with all necessary systems,
realization of water conditioners including drain-pipes
to the river, building of
support works, roads, hydraulic works, mining material drift, etc.) necessary to
realize the tunnels.
The prospecting lot E51
includes the realization of
the following tunnels:
- Padastertal tunnel drift
(length=approximately 700
m)
- Saxen tunnel yard access
(length = approximately
1.000 m)
- Southern access to Wolf
up to km 0+200 (length =
approximately 200 m)
- Wolf-Padastertal branchtunnel (length = approximately 90 m)

Every tunnel stretch to

be realized within the
E51 lot are dug with a
cyclic technique. Transversal sections were
drawn up in order to
grant, even in the logistics of the future lots.
