Rayyan. 2016. Pengaruh Pemberian Seduhan Kopi Robusta (Coffea canephora var.
Robusta) Subkronik Terhadap Tekanan Darah dan Produksi Urine Pada Tikus
Putih Strain Wistar Jantan (Rattus novergicus Strain wistar). Tugas Akhir.

Latar Belakang : Hipertensi adalah kondisi dimana terjadi peningkatan tekanan
darah secara kronis. Salah satu faktor resiko terjadinya hipertensi adalah konsumsi
kopi karena terdapat kandungan kafein. Mekanisme kerja kafein masih kontroversial
antara bersifat hipertensif atau hipotensif.
Tujuan : Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian seduhan kopi robusta (Coffea canephora
var. Robusta) subkronik terhadap tekanan darah dan produksi urine pada tikus putih
strain wistar jantan (Rattus novergicus Strain wistar).
Metode : True Experimental, Post Test Only Control Group Design. Seduhan kopi
menggunakan dosis 0,36ml/200gram/hari, 0,72ml/200gram/hari, 1,44ml/200gram/
hari dan 2,16ml/200gram/hari diberikan selama 28 hari secara peroral. Analisis data
menggunakan One Way ANOVA, Tukey, korelasi, dan regresi.
Hasil Penelitian dan Diskusi : Seduhan kopi dapat meningkatkan tekanan darah dan
produksi urine secara bermakna (ANOVA p<0,05) dengan signifikansi masingmasing 0.000. Dosis seduhan kopi yang optimal untuk meningkatkan tekanan darah
dan produksi urine adalah 2,16 ml/200gram/hari. Nilai korelasi masing-masing
adalah 0.819 dan 0.859 yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan, semakin
tinggi dosis seduhan kopi dapat meningkakan tekanan darah dan produksi urine, uji
regresi masing-masing menunjukkan pengaruh 67% dan 92.1%.
Kesimpulan : Seduhan kopi dapat meningkatkan tekanan darah dan produksi urine
pada tikus putih strain wistar jantan (Rattus novergicus Strain wistar).

Background: Hypertension is a condition when blood pressure is increased


chronically. One of risk factors for hypertension is the consumption of coffee due to
its caffeine content. Mechanism of action of caffeine is still controversial either it has
quality of causing hypertensive or hypotensive.
Objective: Determining The influence of steeping Robusta coffee (Coffea canephora
var. Robusta) Against Blood Pressure and Urine Production In male strain wistar rats
(Rattus novergicus Wistar strain).
Method: True Experimental, Post Test Only Control Group Design. Steeping coffee
with certain doses 0,36ml / 200gram / day, 0,72ml / 200gram / day, 1,44ml / 200gram
/ day and 2,16ml / 200gram / day given orally for 28 days. The Data analysis used
was One Way ANOVA, Tukey, correlation, and regression.
Result: Steeping coffee could increase blood pressure and urine output significantly
(ANOVA p <0.05) with significance 0.000 each. Optimal dose of steeping coffee to
increase blood pressure and urine output was 2,16ml / 200gram / day. Each
correlation value was 0819 and 0859 that showed a significant correlation, the higher
the dose of coffee given the more it could increase blood pressure and urine
production, each regression test showed the influence of 67% and 92.1%.
Conclusion: The steeping coffee could increase blood pressure and urine output in
male strain wistar rats (Rattus novergicus wistar strain).
