TRIP TO BANGKOK, THAILAND (MAY 13, 2016, 9:25pm to MAY 23, 2016, 1:55pm)

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. In Cebu Pacific / Philippine Airport:
a. Enter in Departure Area and pay the Travel Tax
b. Wait to open the CHECK IN in Bangkok (in big TV) then fall in line in the counter with
Bangkok sign.
c. Go to Immigration, fill-out the form then fall in line for the interview (things to remember):
i. 2-way ticket (please see ticket details)
ii. Vacation / Birthday Celebration
iii. Will stay in the condo of my brother-in-law (please see address)
d. 3 hours up to 45 minutes before departure - Checked-in baggage can be dropped at the Bag
Drop counter for weighing and tagging.
2. Destination: 296/218 ISSARA, LADPRAO, CHATUCHAK, BANGKOK 10900
Note: (Ladprao Soi Sipsong: Ladprao Street 12) say this to taxi driver
3. Money Changer: Bangkok Airport: Kasikorn Bank booth (basement level; opposite of food court)
Note: Buy a sim card to call ate Alma (0983950210) or kua lharry (+66924531816)
4. Taxi: From Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok airport), go to Level 1 for public taxi (taxi-meter). Line up at
one of the desks and tell the dispatcher your destination. A ticket will be provided. Request to
switch on the meter

6. THAILAND DOS and DONTS


a. Do respect all Buddha images
b. Do dress properly when visiting a temple
c. Do remove your shoes before entering a temple, somebodys house and even some shops
d. Do smile a lot
e. Dont cross your legs when you are in the presence of a monk. This applies whether you are
sitting on the floor or in a chair
f. Dont touch a Thai woman without consent. Despite the image portrayed in some bars and
clubs, the majority of Thai women are conservative
g. Dont touch a Thai persons head or ruffle their hair. Apologize if you accidentally touch
somebodys head.
