COLLECT
Let us pray.
All pray in silence with the Priest for a while.
Then the Priest, with hands extended, says the Collect prayer:
(Rev 19:1, 5
Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.
Then I heard something like the sound of a great multitude or the sound of rushing water or mighty peals
of thunder, as they said:
Alleluia! The Lord has established his reign, our God,
the almighty. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him
glory. For the wedding day of the Lamb has come,
his bride has made herself ready. She was allowed to
wear a bright, clean linen garment. (The linen represents the righteous deeds of the holy ones.)
Then an angel said to me, Write this: Blessed are
those who have been called to the wedding feast of
the Lamb.
The Word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God.

My brothers and sisters, in this solemn act of thanksgiving to the Most Blessed Trinity, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and
our Mother, of Saint Joseph, her most chaste spouse,
of the Holy angels, and of Saint Josemaria: let us ask
God the Almighty Father, source of all good things,
Jesus Christ his Son and our redeemer, and the Holy
Spirit, to pour forth grace continually into our hearts.
For every petition, we say, Lord, hear our prayer.
R. Lord, hear our prayer.
For all our parents, brothers and sisters in all their spiritual and material needs; that the Holy Spirit may assist them in their service to the Church and their
neighbors. Lord, may you take them under your protection and care. Make our homes bright and cheerful, full of faith and generosity. We pray to the Lord.

For all teachers, and all who work in our school, may
they be before us the model of professionalism, virtue
and learning. May they cooperate in solidarity with all
people of good will to build a more just society,
founded on the Lords New Commandment. Help
them impart their wisdom generously and demand
high standards from all. We pray to the Lord.
R. Lord, hear our prayer.
For the Year 5 students, may God grant them the gift
of fortitude so as to be persevering in the struggle for
personal improvement and the gifts of piety,
knowledge, understanding and wisdom which will
teach them the meaning of being sons of God and
brothers of all mankind. May they yield the fruit you
expect of them. We pray to the Lord.
R. Lord, hear our prayer.
For all those who study in Northfield; that they be ever
more aware of their call to holiness and to spreading
the Gospel in every environment of the world,
through the sanctification of their studies and of their
ordinary duties. We pray to the Lord.
R. Lord, hear our prayer.
That people everywhere may work for peace to
