Recognising that most business organisations today face unprecedented change

through the ever increading complexity of both domestic and international markets,
this programme has been devised to create sophisticated management
professionals.
The syllabus focuses on todays business pressure points of Change, Strategy and
Leadership and professional interests are reflected in a range of electives. Personal
and professional skill development is integral to the programme.
By studying this internationally recognised award, you will develop a keen
awareness of the most up-to-date management thinking and practice.
The programme providing a broad choice of option units covering key disciplines
of business. The core units give students on this programme knowledge and skills
associated with professional practice, principles of management, organisational
strategy, managing change, and research whilst the option units enable exploration
of two further disciplines out of three - Human Resources, Marketing and Finance .

Fees UK and EU students: Full-time fee: 6,930 per year. Part-time fee: 1155 per
30 credits studied per year, or 770 per 20 credits studied per year.
Non-EU international and Channel Island students: Full-time fee: 13,300 per year.
A Masters qualification typically comprises 180 credits, a PGDip 120 credits, and a
PGCert 60 credits. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of study
provided the course is completed in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or

Continuing your professional development
You can follow a range of different routes to support your career development, as
we offer each unit of the degree individually, and if it is more convenient to you
then you can study one unit at a time. If you decide to take a particular
combination of units then you will be awarded a Postgraduate Certificate, or a
Postgraduate Diploma or a Masters degree.
The Principles of Management Practice unit is ideal for junior managers or
supervisors, and this is available as a stand-alone unit. This is a practical unit with
a series of 6 half day workshops over 3 months that involve group exercises to
develop problem solving and decision making skills.
For those already in business or wishing to embark on a career in business, this
course may provide opportunities to gain an internationally-recognised and careerenhancing qualification and to share experience whilst developing new skills and
expertise.
