This Documentation is intended to provide assistance to the users for installation and running of the program that has been developed by Greytrix. Some of the steps that have been covered in the documentation may or may not be applicable in some cases, but we intend to make sure that all the points are covered for smooth installation & running of the program on the system. License Grant Subject to the payment of all applicable license fees, and the terms and conditions of this Agreement, GREYTRIX hereby grants to you a limited, non-sub licensable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use one copy of the specified version of the Software and the accompanying documentation, solely for your individual use. Documentation shall include, but not be limited to, any printed materials, "online" or electronic data provided by or obtained from GREYTRIX with regard to this Software ("Documentation"). Even though copies of the Software may be provided on media of different formats, copies of the Software on different media formats do not constitute multiple licenses to the Software. If the Software is licensed as a suite or bundle with more than one specified Software product, this license applies to all such specified Software products, subject to any restrictions or usage terms specified on the applicable product packaging that applies to any of such Software products individually. 2. Copyright The Software and Documentation are owned by Greytrix or its suppliers and title remains in Greytrix or its suppliers. 3. Other Restrictions You may not rent, lease or assign the Software. YOU MAY NOT MODIFY THE SOFTWARE IN WHOLE OR IN PART. 4. Feedback 4.1 Reporting Obligations You agree to provide feedback to Greytrix which describes your experience with the Software. You agree that you will notify Greytrix of any errors in the Software. You also agree to document any comments, problems, suggestions, or questions that you have regarding the product and send sample output when applicable. You agree to review the related documentation and supporting materials supplied by Greytrix and provide comments where appropriate to indicate vagueness, typographical errors and incorrect material. 4.2 Supportive Information Any ideas, suggestions, modifications etc. made by you with respect to the Software or documentation ("Supportive Information") will be the property of Greytrix. You agree to assign all right, title and interest worldwide in the Supportive Information and the related intellectual property rights to Greytrix and to assist Greytrix at their expense, in perfecting and enforcing such rights. Notwithstanding the above, you may also use such Supportive Information for your internal use.

5. Confidentiality 5.1 Confidential Information You acknowledge that the Software and Documentation incorporates trade secrets of Greytrix in that the Software and Documentation involves processes, techniques, algorithms and compilations of information that are secret, confidential and not generally known to the public and which are the product of Greytrix own expenditure of time, effort, money and creative skills. 5.2 Limitations on Use
(a) You agree that you will take all reasonable measures required to protect Greytrix rights in the Software and Documentation. (b) You agree that you will not use the Software and Documentation or circulate it within your own organization, except as necessary to carry out the internal use and evaluation work authorized under the terms of this Agreement. In particular, you agree to maintain the existence, features and capabilities of the Software and Documentation as secret and confidential until receipt of notice from Greytrix stating that you can disclose the existence, features and capabilities of the Software and Documentation to the public or until the Software and Documentation are introduced for license to the general public.

No Liability for Consequential Damages IN NO EVENT SHALL GREYTRIX BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION, EVEN IF GREYTRIX HAS ADVISED ABOUT IT.

Entire Agreement You acknowledge and agree that you have read this Agreement, understood it and that it is the entire agreement between you and Greytrix which supersedes any prior agreement, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement.

ON ACT! SIDE:
The GUMU ACT! Setup should be installed on the ACT! Server and all ACT! Workstation systems.
Note The ACT! System can be on any of the OS as mentioned above including Windows XP.
In case of Stand-alone System you have to install the GUMU Sage 100 and ACT! Setup on the same machine.

4. Software Requirements
.NET Framework 3.5 needs to be installed on both Sage 100 Server and Sage ACT! Server as well as Workstations. You can download the same from Microsoft site.

2) We need to add an exception in Windows Firewall (if exists) for GUMU Sage 100 Service, so that the ACT! Users can access this service. This can be done by following the steps given below. Go to Control Panel -> Windows Firewall. Click on the Exceptions tab of the Windows Firewall Screen
(Note: In case of Windows 7/Vista/2008 Server, click on Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall on the Upper Left corner of the screen to add an exception) Click on Add Program button and the following screen would appear.

GUMU for Sage ACT! Sage 100 Integration | Installation Guide | Greytrix 3) Finally, we need to start the GUMU ACT! Link MAS90200 Service. This can be done by following the below mentioned steps. I. Click on Start -> Run -> type Services.msc.

Locate GUMU ACT! Link MAS90200 Service and click on Start at the top left corner of the screen.
Alternatively, we can restart the machine and service would start automatically. (Note: If during start of GUMU ACT! Link MAS90200 Service you get this warning message:
Try changing the port number GUMU ACT! Link is using and then restart the service. To change the Port Number GUMU ACT! Link is using: 1. Go To C:\Program Files\Greytrix\Greytrix GUMU MAS90200 Service 2. Open Greytrix.Mas90.WindowsService.exe.config file in notepad. 3. Find add baseAddress and you will get <add baseAddress= net.tcp://localhost:8523/Service />. Here 8523 is the port number GUMU ACT! Link is using, change it to a different port number.

Caution Make sure everyone is logged out from Sage ACT! before installing this setup. Double clicking the SETUP.EXE inside GUMU_ACT2MAS90200_Setup.zip displays Welcome window.

NOTE: After upgrade of the link if you do not find the configured Sage 100 Company in the Sage 100 Configuration screen. Please close the Sage 100 Configuration screen and copy GUMUERPCONFIG.XML xml file [Backup taken in Step 1] and paste it at C:\Program Files\Greytrix\Greytrix GUMU MAS90200 Service. You should now have the list of Sage 100 Companies configured at Sage 100 Configuration screen.

Option 2: 1. Create a new Windows User with account type as Computer administrator on Server machine and all ACT! Workstation machines. Provide the below credentials: a. Name: GUMUUser b. Password: gumuuser 2. Login to Workstation machine with GUMUUser 3. Open Sage ACT! and Test Connection.
Lets see this with an example. A client is having 3 machines [1 server (e.g. Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2003) and 2 workstations (e.g. Windows 7 or Windows XP)]. All are in a Workgroup named DEMO. Sage ACT! server and Sage 100 ERP server are installed on the server machine whereas Sage ACT! workstations are installed on the 2 workstation machines. Server machine name is Demo1 whereas workstation machine names are Demo2 and Demo3. After installing GUMU ACT! Link on server as well as workstation machines below are the steps you need to follow to allow access to Sage 100 data for Demo2 and Demo3 machine users. 1. Create a new Windows User with account type as Computer administrator on Demo1, Demo2 and Demo3. Provide below credentials to all of them: a. Name: GUMUUser b. Password: gumuuser 2. Allow login to Workstation machines to both the Demo2 and Demo3 users with the login they were using till now. 3. Right click on Sage ACT! and click on Run as In Run As window select GUMUUser instead of Current user. These 3 steps will allow ACT! Workstation users to access Sage 100 data using GUMU ACT! Link.

ACT! MLINK DATA MIGRATION UTILITY PRE REQUISITES FOR INSTALLING ACT! MLINK MIGRATION
Process to be followed before installing the ACT! MLink Migration Sage ACT! Link should not be uninstalled, as our Migration tool uses that to migrate data. After migration you can uninstall the Sage ACT! Link. You can directly upgrade from your older version of ACT! to latest ACT! version or uninstall your older version of ACT! and then install the latest ACT! . Similarly for Sage 100 ERP you can upgrade from older versions to the latest Sage 100 ERP version or uninstall your older version of Sage 100 and then install the latest Sage 100 ERP. So to summarize before running the ACT! MLink Migration setup, user need to make sure that system has the following configured: Sage 100 with GUMU Sage 100 side Setup Sage ACT! with GUMU ACT! side Setup Sage ACT! Link installed The ACT! MLink Migration setup has to be installed on ACT! Server.
If the ACT! is installed on your system then the below screen will appear.

Select I Agree the terms of the license agreement and click Next button to proceed further.
