AN ORDER CREATING AN INVENTORY/ EVALUATION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Commission on Audit (COA) through its annual observation report has
repeatedly called the attention of the local government about the understatement of the
value of its assets;
WHEREAS, the determination of the condition including correct value of all property
holdings will enable the local government to comply with the reportorial requirement of
COA and at the same time shall enable the administration to make important decisions
such as identification of accountability including the disposal of unserviceable properties
among others;
NOW THEREFORE,, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, Maria Lourdes
Mendez, Municipal Mayor of Tagbilaran City, Bohol do hereby order the creation of an
inventory/ evaluation committee effective immediately;

A. MEMBERSHIP
Chairman: Atty. Kurt Adolph Bungabong, City Treasurer
Members:
A.E Ochoco, City Accountant
Mr. Nicholas G. Hagoriles, OIC- GSO
Mr. Rexter S. Jaleco, Property Custodian
Mr. Ellis Czar Lopez, MPDO Representative
Office Representative (to be designated by office head)
B. FUNCTION OF THE COMMITTEE
1. Conduct actual physical inventory of all equipment / properties/
facilities.
2. Prepare appropriate Memorandum Receipt to situate accountability
3. Determine and assign permanent property number including priority
number for the purpose of evacuation in times of emergency.
4. Determine disposable properties and equipment and assign salvage
value to constitute as floor price for the purpose of sale at public
auction.
C. REPORT/ RECOMMENDATION
Considering the magnitude and complexity of the work to be done, the
Committee is required to submit its report and recommendation not later
than December 15, 2015.
