Aidea Design Foundation

The Aidea Design Foundation launched its scholarship program in 2012 as a vehicle for deserving
Architecture and Interior Design students to continue their schooling. This is part of the firm's
advocacy to give back to the industry with our commitment to educate aspiring designers and prepare
them for practice.
Benefits
Successful recipients will be awarded with 100% coverage of their tuition and miscellaneous fees, a
monthly allowance, plus a chance to attend supplemental formation, training and workshops
sponsored by Aidea Inc.
Qualifications of Applicants
The Aidea Design Foundation Scholarship application is open to all students who will pass the
following criteria:
1. A Filipino citizen and an incoming Junior or Third Year students of Architecture or Interior
Design enrolled in any government recognized colleges or universities in the Philippines.
2. With a cumulative first and second year grade point average of 1.75 or equivalent to Dean's
Lister cut-off grade of the specific school.
3. Without failing or incomplete grade in any subject.
4. With total annual household (combination of all working family members) Income not
exceeding Php 500,000.
5. Not concurrently recipient of any major scholarship or financial aid (e.g. pre-need educational
plans, DOST or other academic-related scholarship etc.).
Mechanics and Selection Process
1. Applicant must accomplish the Aidea Design Foundation, Inc. Scholarship Application Form
and submit supporting documents for initial screening.
The form is available:
a. From their respective colleges and universities.
b. For download at: www.aidea.com.ph/foundation/scholarship/form.pdf
1.1 Supporting documents are as follows:
a. Transcript of Records or True Copy of Grades from the College Secretary or
University Registrar or its equivalent office (First year and Second year/current year).
b. Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate.
c. Latest Income Tax Return (2015) of all working household members or Certificate of
Tax Exemptions from the employer/BIR.
d. At least two (2) Recommendation Letters from Professors/Dean and Certificate of
Good Moral Character from College Secretary or its equivalent office.

Scholarship Guidelines
3. Aidea Design Foundation, Inc. will pre-screen the applicants and scholars will be selected
based on the following:
a. Paper evaluation of application form and credentials
b. Interview
4. Pre-qualified applicants shall be invited for an initial interview and those who will pass shall be
invited for the final interview with the committee.
5. Successful scholarship recipients will be notified by the Foundation coordinator thru E-mail
and Text message.

Maintenance Requirements
To retain the scholarship, the following conditions must be met every semester:
1. Semestral grade point average not lower than 1.75 every quarter or Dean's Lister maintaining
grade.
2. Must not have failure grades or drop any subject nor cancel enrollment for the period during
which they enjoy the scholarship without prior approval of Aidea Design Foundation, Inc.
3. Must not change or shift course major.
4. Must carry the full semestral load as prescribed by the respective scholars department or
program adviser.
5. Must generally not benefit from major financial assistance, grant or scholarship, from other
external sources.
