CAREER IN INFORMATION SCIENCES AND ENGINEERING UCS1393

ASSIGNMENT 1
TOPIC: BEGINNING WITH THE SELF & JOB CLASSIFICATION
INSTRUCTION:
1. Students are required to do a group presentation and submit a presentation slides.
2. Each group (maximum can be up to 5 persons per group) is required to do a presentation on
selected topic.
3. This assignment contributes 10% of the overall assessment.
4. Mode: Group
5. Date of Presentation: During class on 29th JULY 2016 (THURSDAY).
** If you have any difficulties in submitting the assignment according to the date given,
please come and discuss with me.

development areas of self, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Hollands Theory.
CO2 : Describe the current job sectors, job descriptions and the future direction of careers in
the area of information sciences and engineering.
TASK:
1.

You are required to:


(a)

discuss in a group and do a presentation based on the respective topics. You may refer
to the lecture notes given and also refer to any articles related on the chosen topic.
Please choose any ONE (1) of the following topic:

Chapter 2 Beginning With The Self

Chapter 3 Job Classification

(b) submit the hard copy of your presentation slides as an evidence.
