Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducting inspection as per approved Inspection and Test Plan
(ITP), Perform, witness, testing and records result of inspection.
Coordinate with the Independent Testing Laboratory in performing
necessary tests and review all the tests result.
Review contractors Project specifications, Procedures, Method
statements, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) and Material approval
request.

 Prepare request for inspection (RFI) according to the

Approved ITP.
Monitor at site the implement QA/QC procedures by the
contractors, and verify IFC Drawing & Scope of work is followed
by the contractors ensure that the work is done as per Aramco
standards & procedures.
Review construction drawings to ensure that they contain the
necessary quality related requirements prior to release for
construction.
Witness the Inspections of excavation, compaction, and Field
Density Test (FDT) prior to lean concrete work, re-bar inspection,
visual inspection prior to concrete pouring.
Monitor concrete pouring, witness concrete testing, curing,
surface preparation of the foundation prior to bitumen coating
and back filling.
Co-ordinate with electrical and Mechanical disciplines engineers
for technical clarification prior to concrete pouring.
Preparation of check list, design change, co-coordinating with
clients inspection, document control, review change orders and
as built drawings.
Inspection of Form and Reinforcement work for footings and
foundation prior to concrete and giving clearance for concrete
work.
Monitor the concrete pouring work including air content test,
slump test and temperature of concrete; verify number of
vibrators used for concrete pouring.
Monitor and inspection of honey comb rectification on concreted
area prior to surface preparation.

 Inspection of surface preparation for the footings, pedestals,

foundations and retaining wall prior to the application of water
proof bituminous coat.

Inspection of water proof bituminous coat applications on

foundations and giving clearance for back filling.

Inspection of tank foundations including ring wall foundation,

anchor bolts, back filling with the approved materials.
