Interface program.

DESCRIPTION

The XLp Interface is a Windows utility, which is used to obtain status information, change
parameters, and run diagnostics on the XLp series plotter. The interface communicates to
the XLp plotter via an USB/TCPIP link. If the plotter program wplotter is running, the XLp
Interface communicates with the plotter through wplotter.

The minimum required Hardware environment:

Mouse pointing device
Usb 1.1 port
100Mbps Network link speed and full duplex when using TCP/IP plotting.

The required Software environment:

Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows7(32 bit)/Windows7(64bit)
Winplot version 3.3.1/8.0.7 or later

6.0: INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The Installation procedure for this release will install the XLp Interface on the computer.
IMPORTANT: Close any open programs before installing the software.

New Features
1) TCP/IP connection XLp supports Ethernet connection with a PC if the PC and the
plotter are in the same Subnet.
2) Multi-language supported Multi-language is supported in Interface V3.0 GUI, such
as English, France, German, Italian, Portugal, Spanish, Dutch, SC, and TC.

Issues Fixed
1) User Account Control issue - Service fed back that after installing the software
Interface V2.7.3 Firmware V1.12 Accumark8.4.1.146 on Win7(32bit) system on XLp
plotter, when try to plot a marker, there will show Marker file doesnt exist and stop
plotting. It only happens on the Accumark 8.4.1 & Interface V2.7.3 combination using.
When using the Interface V2.7.3, Accumark 8.4.0 or other lower AccuMark version, there
is no this issue.
