following PVC insulated & NYY insulated & PVC
sheathed cable (2XY) with PVC insulated green/white
coloured ECC wire (BYA) connecting at both ends,
through cable tray/ PVC conduit of reputed manufacturer
complete with necessary accessories. All electrical
contacts shall be of brass/copper connected through
connector or soldering ( no twisting shall be allowed) and
cables shall be manufactured and tested according to

Preparation of detail Shop drawing including layout

installation works. Shop drawing must be coordinated with
other services likely Electrical cabling, Light Fixtures,

15.0 Nameplate / Tag / Identification

Proper Nameplate of the Equipments, Tagging and
Identification of all items as per recommendation of the
Consultant.
16.0 Testing, Installation, Commissioning & Balancing
The whole systems, including yard piping and fire
department connections shall be tested hydrostatically at
not less than 200 psi (13.8 bar) of pressure for 2 hours, or
at 50 psi (3.5 bar) in excess of the maximum working
pressure where the maximum pressure is in excess of
150 psi (10.3 bar). The inside standpipe system piping
shall show no leakage. Underground pipe shall be tested
in accordance with NFPA 24, Standard for the Installation
of Private Fire Service Mains and Their Appurtenances.

following forms: i) One set in tracing paper, size A1 ii)
Two sets printout in A1 paper iii) Soft copy in CD in

18.0 Training Operation
The contractor shall arrange training to the selected staffs
by the client for a period of 1 day or as required so that
they can be acquainted with the system and can handle
the equipment well.

19.0 Maintenance & Services During Guarantee Period

Operation and maintenance of all installed items for one
year defect liability period after completion of tne Trail
run. During this period if any defect in supply / Intallation
is defcted, the Contractor will rectify that at his cost. The
Contractor shall also supply all cosumable materials,
tools, manpower for operation and maintenance.
