Safety instruction
The following related to transport storage, installing commissioning, usage and
maintenance of GT series dewatering screen, if ignore these safety instructions may

result in personal injury or property(equipment/materials/products)losses.
1.0 Summarize

The following situation can cause serious personal injury and material damage:

1.1 Transport and storage
Confirming products protection during transporting, checking the packing outer
case situation immediately once receive the products, if any damage exists, please
notify courier and us immediately, this is the premise of claim during transporting.
Please strictly follow the instructions about products porterage, or it may cause
personal injury and equipment damage.
Equipment long term stored must be strictly following long term storage
regulation in manual, you should make enough lubricants or grease in indicated place
and take care of rust-proof process. Electric controlling box should be particularly
protected based on long term storage.
1.2 Installing and commissioning
The equipment installation and commissioning should be handled by our
company or agent of professional installer. After dismantling packing box, if find any

discrepancies of products catalogue, please contact us in time.
If any abnormal phenomenon(such as vibration, sharp noise, ultra-wide

temperature) exists in commissioning process, please stop machine immediately
till find the trouble reason and solve it out.
1.3 Usage and maintenance
The electrified parts, rotating parts is available during equipment operation
when stage operation is needed, please be strictly following the instruction
regulation to avoid electric shock injury, mechanical injury and falling injury in
equipment using process.
If any abnormal phenomenon(such as vibration, sharp noise, ultra-wide
temperature) exists in commissioning process, please stop machine immediately till
find the trouble reason and solve it out, and contact us if necessary.
Equipment maintenance or troubleshooting process may involve electrified
parts, gear transmission or mechanical parts removal etc, please be strictly
following manual instruction regulation to avoid electric shock injury, mechanical
injury or torch(hit)injury.

Equipment Summarize
2.0 Summarize
GT series dewatering screen is widely used in coal preparation, mineral processing,
building materials, construction, electricity and chemical industry products classification
purpose, dehydration, tailings recovery.
2.1 Working principle
GT series dewatering screen has the vibration motor with the same performance
parameters as excitation source, when two sets of vibration motor in the same angular
velocity do reverse operation, the inertial force produced by an eccentric block in a
particular aspect torepeated stack or offset, so as to produce a great shock, driving the
screen box along the straight line track to do periodic reciprocating motion, make the
materials on screen mesh from input to output to do gradually vibrate, during the
vibrating process the part less than the screen hole (water) through the sieve hole falls,
the rest from the output falls, so as to achieve the purpose of classification, dehydration.

3.0 Summarize
GT series dewatering screen is generally consist of exciter, screen box, screen
mesh, brackets, damping device and other components(Chart 3-1)

3.1 Exciter
This machine excitation source is two spindle parallel vibration motor, the two motor
reverse rotation, produce the resultant force driving along the straight line screen box
track reciprocating motion.
During the Installation or adjustment, maintenance of this department should

prevent turning
device wounding
The vibration motor s every end is driven by a main eccentric block and a rotating
vice eccentric block made by adjusting the two eccentric block size to change an angle,
then adjust the vibration motor excitation force size, and the vibrating amplitude values
(see the vibration motor instruction).
Two motor four groups of eccentric angles, and the direction of the eccentric on the
motor must be identical
weight plate of four eccentric plate must be same to avoid unnecessary losses
After adjustment of auxiliary weight plate, must ensure no unimpeded situation
of rotating equipment before start
3.2 Screen box

Cabinet side panel is made from quality blending steel, the central space of two side
panel is connected with thick-walled seamless steel pipe, steel pipe ends are connected
with box side panel by high-strength rivets forming frame type screen box. This structure
can ensure the whole rigidity of screen box more solid, and much more difficult to be
cracked and so on.
3.3 Screen mesh
This machine has the polyurethane frame screen with the high wear-resisting
blockingproof performance. According to the actual situation the screen hole size could
be used by 0.1 2 mm occasions).
3.4 Brackets
Brackets is welded by frame steel, which support the weight of entire screen
machine and extra work loading.
Adjust the relative height of front-brackets, back-brackets for vibrating screen to

change inclination of screen surface.
If need to adjust the angle of the vibration sieve, only need put pad with different
thickness under front-brackets or back-brackets.
After adjustment must ensure that two former and latter brackets
have the same level height
3.5 Damping device

Because of huge exciting force when vibrating works, adopting spring to separate
vibrating screen equipment and bottom bracket ,could effectively reduce the vibrating
impact on bottom base.

5 Installing and commissioning

This machine should be installed by professionals

Before the installation, should ensure the lifting equipment is
appropriate and these devices should have valid certificates

Never use stranded cable, damage or knotted cable for lifting operation
Never use tools in not good condition or not match completely.

5.1 Equipment installation

Firstly install the brackets of screening machine on the top of embedded iron based
on construction drawing, then place damping spring on the brackets and using lift
equipment to lift screening box whose height should be higher than damping spring by
200mm,and then adjust the relative position of screening box and brackets till two units
cope with each other completely, finally place screening box on top of spring slowly.
5.2 Equipment commissioning
STOP
To avoid unnecessary losses, must stop machine to do inspection if

there is any emergency and exceptions
Electric wires must be operated by professionals
Two motor must reverse rotation!
1After equipment installation, should check fastening condition of all bolts;

Check the relative position of screen box, feed chute and discharge chute to ensure no
possibility of collision.
2Check whether electrical wire is correct.
3 In four hours of the test run, vibration motor temperature will be gradually
raised, and balance. Usually, bearing temperature rise should be less than 40 degrees. If
found bearing has a sharp rise in temperature and must stop to check reasons.
8 Check all the fastening condition of bolts for screen machine.
9 Check whether there is abnormal noise of the screen,.
10If there is no exception after 8 hours test running, the screen machine
installation should be qualified.

Equipment usage and operation
6.1 Inspection before screen machine start-up

Operators of screening machine should completely know the structure and working
principle of equipment. Before starting screening machine, should make good
preparation and check the condition of coupling to ensure screen mesh and other parts
are in good condition.
6.2 How to start&stop screening machine.

Screening machine is generally used in crushing&screening or washing process,
and should be starting&stopping based on idle-load, therefore need to comply with
reverse-process starting and along-process stopping.
Screen machine starts, need to close knife switch, connect wire with grid, then press
start button and one-time starting should be done.
Except special circumstance, screen machine is not allowed to stop with mineral
products. Usually press stop button to stop running of machine.
Equipment maintenance
7.0 Summarize
Screening machine maintenance should be operating by professional people who
are familiar with all process. Screening machine requires frequent&systematic inspection
and maintenancemaking equipment in good working condition, reducing downtime and
repairing cost to prolong usage time of screening machine.
7.1 Inspection content
1 Exciter
1Checking the grease whether added.
2Checking fastening condition of connection bolts
3When equipment operated, the motor temperature whether too high.

1Checking the accumulation of material, whether form screen box, feeding

equipment and discharging equipment collisions.
2Checking screen surface tightening and wearing condition.
3Checking whether the screen hole are blocked and the accumulation of
material.
4Checking fastening condition of connection bolts
5 When screen operates, check whether products is uniform distribution of

screen surface.
3 Support device
1Check whether spring be fracture or broken.
2Check whether products is accumulated around spring.
3Check whether compression condition of each spring is uniform.
4Check whether any cracking of weld connection exist.
7.2 Welding and gas cutting on screen box
Generally welding and gas cutting is not allowed on screen box directlyBecause
welding and gas cutting would produce partial stress which would shorten screen box
using life.
In special circumstance, welding and gas cutting must be aware of follow
1As for cracking condition of side plate, must find the exact cracking end, and
drill a hole of 5mm to prevent further expansion of cracks
2When welding, be sure to make screen welding parts on the ground to prevent
electricity current run through bearing.
3 Welding parts need warm-up in advance.
4 Grinding crack into groove shape, then adopt good quality electrodes for
welding and make welding crack polished.
5 If must have gas cutting holes on screen box, the edge of holes should be
polished, or equipment would be damaged because of intent stress.

Equipment transport and storage
8.1 Porterage

Because of huge weight of equipment, must do lifting loading, see lifting position of
the equipment
8.2 Transport
This equipment should be shipped by land and sea transportation.
Pay attention to sign on box when land transportexcepting the base, other parts
could not be to place upside down, on its side and tilt too much. And also need to take
appropriate protective measures to avoid any vibration and impacting of equipment
during transport.
Comply with relevant ocean transport regulation when shipping by sea.
8.3 Storage
Screening machine could not be stored touching ground directly, should place a
wooden beam paving stablelyand the distance from the ground should not be less than
250mm.If store in open, should add rain cover to prevent wind&rain erosion.
9
Unpacking and inspection
9.1 Unpacking caution

a) Before unpacking, should be carefully exam the package condition and also
whether number, specification model of products is consistent with custom clearing
documents
b) When open the package box, should remove the top part firstly, then open the
four sides and make equipment out.
9.2 Inspection content
a) Documents with productsGenerally include: packing list ,instruction etc
b) According to the packing list, check the products content by piece and make the
note
c) Check any deformation and scratches exist on device surface because of
torching, knocking and severe vibrating etc.
