I have well developed skills in coordinating, organizing, and delivering programs through both
my paid and volunteer work.
I have 20 years of experience both as a paid employee and a volunteer in the not for profit sector.
I have 5 years experience working with at risk youth and their families and supporting them with
mental health and addiction issues. I have 10 years of experience coordinating and managing
programs within the frame work of the Canadian Pony Club.
As the Regional Chair for Canadian Pony Club I organized 4 Regional Rallies, 1 National
Dressage Competition, and sat on the committees for numerous other events. As the District
Commissioner of the local Shuswap Branch of Canadian Pony Club I organized 4 horse shows,
obtained instructors for regular club lessons, found venues ,organized and taught the non riding

As a front line youth worker I was able to build relationships with community partners and I

about suicide risk factors and passionate about prevention. I am sensitive to the issues and
challenges facing diverse populations and cultures.
