Eligibility:

A pass in two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate


Education, Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the
University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely:
i) Physical Sciences
ii) Biological or Natural Sciences
A candidate under general category for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course,
must have passed in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and
obtained 50% (40% for SC/ST category) of marks at intermediate level.

Criteria for selection:


The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by
the candidates in the Telangana State EAMCET-I- 2016 conducted by the Telangana State
Council for Higher Education in their respective local areas from out of the merit lists
prepared for this purpose. The candidates will be selected based on merit, presidential order,
region and social status.
In case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more candidates in the Telangana State
EAMCET-I, the marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination shall
be taken into consideration. In case of a further tie, the age of the candidate shall be taken
into consideration.
Age:
The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed 17 years
of age on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all
the candidates, 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically
Challenged candidates.
Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from families of Agriculturist cum Rural
Area (Farmers Quota):
Forty per cent (40%) of the seats in the PJTSAU & SKLTSHU and 25% in PVNRTVU
are reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owing not less
than 3 acres of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates
and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal
areas. If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other
relations reservation is not acceptable under farmer quota.
FORM-I: It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land owned by the
candidate / parents duly certified by the Tahsildar with his office seal (or) the candidate
has to enclose attested photocopies of pattadar pass book as an evidence of the extent of
land.
Form-II: It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School with his office
seal that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools located
in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 12th class /
Intermediate (Non-Municipal Area Certificate).
Form-I and Form-II need to be filled in with the signatures of concerned officials viz.,
Tahsildar and concerned Head of Institution, respectively, along with office seal.
Otherwise, the claim of the candidates under this category will be summarily rejected.

Reservation of seats for Women:
In each course, 33 % of the seats shall be horizontally reserved in favour of women
candidates from each category. (G.O.Ms. No. 75/Edn., dated 13-3-1996 of Govt. of A.P.)
Allocation of seats in favour of Local candidates in relation to Local area:
85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% of seats are un-reserved.
Hostel facility:
Hostel facility shall be provided subject to the availability of accommodation.
Method of Selection:
The candidate declared/notified as qualified for counselling, based on the merit-rank,
shall report for Counselling as per Counselling schedule announced until and unless
i otherwise intimated. Candidate shall forfeit the claim for admission if he/she, in-person
does not report for counselling. Candidate who has not been declared/ notified as
qualified for counselling, shall not be considered for admission at any stage.
Candidate will be recommended for admission in the subject/degree programme of choice
ii on the basis of merit in the Telangana State EAMCET-I-2016 and availability of seats at
his/her merit-rank during counselling.
Admission through Counselling:
There will be offline counselling (personal appearance) only. The candidates qualified for

counselling and called for consideration for provisional admission to the Universities
would be generally larger than the number of seats available.
List of original documents and photographs to be produced at the time of counselling are
as under:
a. Hall Ticket & Rank Card of Telangana State EAMCET-I-2016.
b. Bonafide / Study Certificates in original related to Class VI to XII.
c. Marks Sheet/ Grade reports in original related to SSC and Intermediate/its equivalent.
d. Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate, Character Certificate from the
School last attended.

e. The Community Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Classes,
Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as per the Central Govt. requirements and
issued by the Competent Authority.
f. Medical Certificate in case of Physically Challenged (PC) candidates issued Medical
officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of
disability.

g. The relevant certificates, in case of candidates seeking admission under


CAP/NCC/Games & Sports quota,
h. In case, the Date of Birth is not mentioned in Class X Certificate, Date of Birth
(DOB) Certificate.
i. Residence Certificate, if necessary.
j. Form-I and Form-II, if necessary.
k. Three recent and clear passport size colour photographs with name as uploaded on
the application form.
Verification of the documents will be done at the time of counselling. After verification
of the documents only, the candidate shall proceed to the allotment of seat & the
university available at their merit rank and choice. After the seat is allotted by the
counselors and accepted by the candidates, the admission fee is to be paid at the
Designated Counter. After payment of the admission fee in cash, the candidate shall
collect the fee receipt and the provisional admission letter.
Candidate, not fulfilling the eligibility condition(s) at the time of counselling, will forfeit
claim for admission and will not be considered for seat allocation. Candidature in such
cases shall be rejected summarily. No correspondence shall be entertained thereafter in
this regard.
In view of the time constraint, available for counselling, each candidate is advised to
keep a ready list of options, in case the filled in options of the candidate have been
exhausted.
In case, all seats in a subject at the University opted for, are exhausted by the time
candidate reaches counselling desk, he/she shall have the option to provide fresh choices
of subject/university, wherever the seat is available. The candidate shall have no claim
for change of subject/University thereafter.
Candidate reporting late for counselling beyond the time specified on the specified
counselling date, may be considered for admission on the counselling date, subject to
valid/acceptable reason for late reporting, only out of the subjects & colleges available at
the time of his/her actual counselling. He/she will lose any claim for seat at his/her meritrank due to- late reporting.
The fact that a candidate has appeared for counselling, will not ensure admission unless a
seat at the rank of the candidate for counselling is available and he/she meets all
eligibility requirements.
All candidates reporting for counselling will be required to submit original certificates
and mark sheets to the Associate Dean of the allotted Colleges, otherwise admission may
not be granted. All original certificates submitted by the candidates may be sent to their
respective Boards for verification. In case a candidate wishes to withdraw the original
certificates after the admission, he/she shall directly request the allotted college for the
same.
If any candidate fails to deposit the admission fee and original certificates as required, the
admission would not be granted and candidate would forfeit his/her claim for admission.
In case any particular Board is not recognized or has been derecognized by some
university, University will not be responsible for admitting students of that Board in the
universities not willing to admit such candidates.

Fee:
The particulars of fees in respect of U.G. Programmes of three Universities are given
hereunder for ready reference. The candidates who are granted admission shall have to pay
the prescribed fees immediately at the counselling centre.

NOTE:

The guidelines of the Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed.
In the event of establishment of new colleges such seats will also be considered to for filling up
through this notification only.
Fees once paid to the University shall not be refunded under any circumstances. In addition,
the candidate has to pay the cancellation fee, if the candidate leaves the institution.
Candidates called for counselling shall have to attend at their own cost only One of the Parents /
Guardian of the candidate will be allowed for counselling.
The candidate who secures a seat, should submit the certificates in Original along with the
prescribed fees at the time of counselling.
The University does not guarantee any employment to the candidates.
The applicant is informed that mere submission of an online application and attending to the
counselling do not guarantee the allotment of seat.
