AF filter cartridges

Filter cartridges
Omega Air filter cartridge production includes 6 filtration
stages (B, P, R, M, S and A), which are designed to remove
particulates, water, oil vapours, taste and odours from
compressed air.

The design of filter media ensures the effective and efficient

removal most of contaminates in compressed air systems. Note
that these filters will not remove carbon monoxide or carbon
dioxide.

All materials are suitable for operation in the temperature

range from 1,5 to 65 °C (35 to 149°F). They are corrosion-proof
and suitable for most of applications.

The filter and cartridge size is determined by the compressed air

flow. They are all designed for operation pressure up to 16 bar
(232 psi).

CKL-B series
Condensate separators

CKL-B - Aluminium condensate separators

Efficient removal of condensate from a compressed air system has

several advantages: extended life of compressed air tools, improved
lubrication of all pneumatic components, improved painting
processes, reduced corrosion, and elimination of freezing.

These advantages can all be achieved with the installation of Omega

Air CKL-B Cyclone separators. This high-efficiency separators will
remove condensed water droplets, with a very low pressure drop.
They also provide added protection and improved performance for
dryers and filters.

Typically, water separators are installed downstream of after coolers,

air receivers, refrigerant dryers and strategic points in pipe work
installation.

Standard equipment includes automatic condensate drain AOK 16B.

Condensate separators
Benefits
Construction of aluminium cyclone separators assures high efficiency condensate separation with low pressure drop.

Cartridge inside Cyclone separator assures reliable operation for the life of the separator, with no possibility of clogging and
increased operating costs.

Condensate Cyclone separator CKL-B satisfies all needs of applications in a wide temperature range from 1,5 to 65 °C (35 to
149 °F) and in a pressure range up to 16 bar (232 psi).

All alluminium separator bodies are coated with powder paint to eliminate corrosion.

Threaded connections are BSP according to ISO7/1 or NPT to ANSI B2.1, if supplied in North America.

ECD series

ECD series - Electronic condensate drains

The new generation of electronic condensate drains - ECD

series, is used for the automatic discharge of accumulated
condensate from compressed air systems. The basic
principle is contactless measurement of the acumulated
condensate which is then discharged without the loss of
valuable compressed air.

Condensate flow constantly flushes debris out of the valve.

Thats why uninterrupted operating is guaranteed.

Incorrect plunger position is first sign of debris blocking

the valve. By detecting incorrect position, blocked plunger
release procedure is started.
This procedure assures safety and reliable plunger
operating. No staff intervention is needed. This procedure
starts automatilally.

ECD Series is made of aluminium housing with plastic

cover, which protects electronics inside the device from
outside harmful conditions.

Benefits
- aluminium housing
- integrated filter mesh
- compact design
- two-way connections
- eloxated housing
- contactless measuring
- NEW: direct acting, self cleaning valve (patented)
- NEW: blocked plunger release procedure
- NEW: operating diagnostic monitoring
- warning LED light for ’’drain operating’’ and ’’alarm’’
- AC versions (for DC version please contact Omega Air)

AOK 20B

Automatic condensate drain - 20 bar

AOK 20B - Automatic Condensate Drain

The AOK 20 is used when larger amounts of condensate (up to 300 l/
h) must be automatically discharged from filters, pressure vessels and
cyclone separators. It ensures reliable operation up to 20 barg (290
psig).
When the condensate exceeds the discharge level, the float rises,
opens the discharge aperture and discharges condensate from the
system. We reccomend the installation of the nipple, which improves
the performance of the AOK 20B.

Mechanical condensate drains

MCD - Manual Condensate Drain
Manual Condensate Drains MCD are used for discharging condensate from filters and other vessels with
1/2’’ drain connections. In order to prevent condensate from becoming re-entrained in the airstream we
reccomend controlling the condensate level in filter bowl, which requires an automatic drain trap. For
improved, automatic discharge we recommend the use of other Omega Air products.

AOK 16S - Automatic Condensate Drain

AOK 16S is primarly used in filters. Its task is the automatic discharge of condensate and oil from the
system.
A manual emergency drain allows the operator to manually drain the filter, and confirm the automatic
operation.

Technical data

AOK 16B - Automatic Condensate Drain

AOK 16B is primarly used in filters. Its task is the automatic discharge of condensate and oil. When the
accumulated condensate exceeds to discharge level, the float rises, opens the outlet aperture, and
discharges condensate from the system.
A manual emergency drain allows the operator to manually drain the filter, and confirm the automatic
operation.

BF filter cartridges

Filter cartridges
Omega Air filter cartridge production includes 6 filtration stages (B, P,
R, M, S and A), which are designed to remove particulates, water, oil
vapours, taste and odours from compressed air.

The design of filter media ensures the effective and efficient removal
most of contaminates in compressed air systems. Note that these filters
will not remove carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide.

All materials are suitable for operation in the temperature range from
1,5 to 65 °C (35 to 149°F). They are corrosion-proof and suitable for most
of applications.

The filter and cartridge size is determined by the compressed air flow.
They are all designed for operation pressure up to 16 bar (232 psi).

WOS - water - oil sepatators

Water-oil separators - WOS series

Local environmental laws and regulations state that conden-

sate drained from compressed air systems cannot be returned
to the sewage system due to the content of compressor
lubricating oil.

WOS is one of the most effective and economical water oil

separators. Multi-stage separation process using oleophilic
filters and activated carbon, ensures exceptional performance
and trouble free operation.

WOS series covers all compressor capacities up to 35 m3/min.

WOS

Electronic detection of clogged

cartridge (option)
Benefits
• no complex sizing required,
• simple to install,
• works with any type od condensate drain,
• can handle and separate any type of oil,
• oil residue value is less than 10 ppm,
• easy to maintain,
• no condensate settling tank is required (therefore there is no
bacteria build-up),
• small compact design,
• test valve and test set included for sampling purposes.
