Coal Tar BP
Complex and variable mixtures of phenols, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs),
and heterocyclic compounds, about 200 substances in all. Product is used in
Cosmetic and Medical/Pharmaceutical Industries as an additive in Shampoos &
Creams or as an ingredient in Pharmaceutical Formulations like Coal Tar Solutions,
Ointments etc.
Coal Tar Solution BP (Weak)
Also known as Liquor Picis Carbonis (lat.) and is used as a treatment for dandruff and
psoriasis, as well as being used to kill and repel head lice. GMP & regulatory support
available for this product.
Coal Tar Solution Strong BP
Similar uses to Coal Tar Solution BP (Weak), but of double strength. GMP &

Magnesium is essential for the human organism. It takes part in many metabolic
processes. Magnesium salts positively influence coronary diseases, blood pressure
or muscular pain.
Calcium is very important for the living organism. It influences the
neurotransmission, it is involved in the function of muscles, nerves and in cell
division as well as in activating certain enzymes and hormones.
Sodium regulates the water content of living bodies, the acid-base-balance and
ensures the excitability of muscles and nerves and activates certain enzymes.
Potassium is an essential mineral. It belongs to the most important electrolytes in
body fluids and is jointly responsible for the control of muscles. In the food industry
potassium is used as an acidity regulator and is listed as the food additive E 525 in
the European Union.
Zinc is responsible for many different functions. It is very important in the metabolic
process of sugar, fat and protein. It takes part in cell growth. Zinc also supports the
functions of the immune system and of hormones. Ointments containing zinc are
used for wound healing.
Especially for use in pharmaceuticals, food supplements and food additives, Medex
