DC beat Fnatic 2-0 today to move on to the lower bracket finals of

TI6 where they will face EG to determine who will advance to the
Grand Finals.

Game One
Both teams opted for core/support dual openings, with DC selecting a Slardar
and Keeper of the Light, while Fnatic took the very meta Mirana and a Kunkka
to compliment her. Fnatic also took the opportunity to ban out what seems to
have become a TI6 DC signature hero in the Naga Siren. Both teams took a
few of the rarer heroes later on in the draft, with Fnatic selecting a Shadow
Shaman and Legion Commander, and DC taking a mid Ursa for Alliwi w33
Omar.
First blood came early on for DC, as the support Slardar of Rasmus Misery
Filipsen was able to combo with the offlane Dark Seers Ion Shell to help DC
confirm the kill on Nai Zheng MidOne Yeiks Phantom Lancer. DC pushed
their early advantage, with the teams supports rotating and continuing to
find pickoffs on the back of the Slardar. Fnatic hit back though, and rotation
from the Legion Commander of Chong Xin Ohaiyo Khoo early on secured the
first duel damage of the game Fnatics way. The game began to move back
and forth, as DCs ion shelled and Aegis fueled Ursa began to move in on
Fnatic, and David Moo Hull continued his successful play at the main event
on his Dark Seer, landing several key Vacuums and Wall of Replicas for DC.
20 minutes in, Fnatic began to pressure DCs tier two towers, and when DC
tried to defend, were initiated on giving up several kills as the momentum of
the game began to swing Fnatics way. DC recovered though and made more

of the map, propelling all three of their cores into the top net worth heroes in
the game. After DC secured another Aegis around the 30 minute mark, Fnatic
was forced to start dodging fights as DC looked to assert their dominance on
the game, pushing down most of the outer towers Fnatic had left with little to
no problem. DC slowly corralled Fnatic back into their own base, pushing the
creep waves in and continuing to pull ahead on farm. DC secured a third
Aegis of the game, this time for Roman Resolut1on Fominoks Slark, and
looked to end the game by taking Fnatics high-ground. w33 on the Ursa
jumped into Fnatics base wrecking their team, and allowing his team to get
the first lane of racks in the game. DC continued to farm up, securing over a
40,000 net worth lead for their team, and looked to push for an end to the
game, taking Fnatics last lane of racks, and securing the win shortly after.

Game Two
Fnatic opted for one of the most well used duos of the tournament with their
first pick taking a Faceless Void and Elder Titan one-two. DC responded with
the ever popular Shadow Demon and a signature Beastmaster for Moo. Fnatic
then quickly snatched up the IO and Huskar combination, with DC responding
by taking the Invoker, a signature w33 hero, and Chaos Knight for Resolut1on
to counter the Huskar.
DC almost secured first blood on MidOnes Ember Spirit around the top rune,
but he quickly dodged a Kunkka torrent with a level 1 Slight of Fist, and was
able to escape with the help of the Io. They got first blood for real however
only a minute later as the IO fell in the top lane. The early game was hectic,
with Yee Fung Mushi Chais Huskar securing an important early kill on the
Chaos Knight. A minute four fight around the top rune ended with w33
snatching a kill on the Ember Spirit, helping him to win the midlane. DC was
having trouble contesting the farm of the Huskar however, as Mushi looked to
secure a good timing for his Armlet. Midone also tried to skirmish on his
Ember Spirit occasionally, rotating around the map to try and catch DC off
guard, but for the most part the NA team was not fooled and continued to
avoid the cores of Fnatic, as they just continued to farm up and push the
lanes.
Fnatics strategy began to fall part however, as items were finished for DC,
and they quickly caught out the Huskar, killing him and his Io counterpart,
and then were able to Segway that victory into a tower push as well as the
first Roshan kill of the game. Upon respawn, Mushi was immediately caught
out again by the Chaos Knight of DC, as their anti Huskar draft looked to
firmly take control of the game. Fnatic rebounded though, with their Faceless
Void getting several good pickoffs in Chronosphere.
At that time, w33 put the game on his shoulders for DC, finding several great
Sunstrike kills allowing DC to take the first barracks of the game at 25
minutes. Fnatic tried to make a comeback however, but DC traded most team
fights Fnatic tried to take evenly. DC won yet another fight around the Roshan
pit, despite losing w33, and secured an Aegis for the Invoker after he bought
back. Mushi was killed in the Fnatic bottom lane, as a mistake from the Io
accidentally brought the Huskar out into danger on a failed relocate, as DC
looked to pressure for another set of Barracks. Instead they pulled back
and opted for the safe play of securing the last outer tower on Fnatic's side of
the map. Shadow demon illusions were able to secure another tower for DC

as well, as without a glyph available, Fnatics top tier three tower and ranged
barracks were taken down quite easily.
Around 40 minutes, DC secured the third Aegis and Cheese of the game, this
time putting it on the Chaos Knight, as they looked to finish the game out,
and secure a lower bracket finals slot tomorrow against EG. Mega creeps
were secured minutes later for DC, and w33 with a newly completed
Refresher Orb ran riot in Fnatics base showing why he is one of the, if not the
best Invoker player in the world. Fnatic in a desperate last gasp, attempted to
take a fight outside of their base, but quickly lost their core heroes. as DC
moved into the base and Fnatic's Ancient fell.
By taking this series, Digital Chaos secures a top three place at The
International 6, joining Evil Geniuses and Wings Gaming as the best Dota 2
teams on the planet. They will move on to play EG in the lower bracket finals
tomorrow, with the winner facing Wings in the best of five grand finals.
