Preface
The purpose of this handbook is to provide our consultants (working at client site) with
information regarding AHCPL and its corporate policies and procedures.
AHCPL reserves the right, to alter, modify, amend or terminate these policies and benfits in
any manner that it believes to be in the Companys best interest.
THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE MANUAL IS NOT A CONTRACT OR AN OFFER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT.
Employment with AHCPL is based on mutual consent. At all times while you are employed
with AHCPL, your employment will be at will. While we hope your employment with us is
both satisfying and rewarding, we understand that you have the right to resign your
employment with the Company at any time and for any reason. Similarly, AHCPL has the
right to end the employment relationship of any employee, as the Company deems
appropriate.
The language in this manual or any oral statements (past and future) are not enforceable as
contracts or covenants of any sort including expressed or implied covenants of good faith
and fair dealing.
The policies stated in this handbook are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion
of the Company. From time to time, you may receive updated information regarding any
changes in policy.
Note: Throughout the handbook, ABYSS & HORIZON CONSULTING PVT. LTD, and
its divisions will be referred to as AHCPL.
There are specific procedures for many of the general policies stated in the handbook.
Please direct any questions to your manager, department head, or to Human Resources at
AHCPL.

All consultants working at client site are legal & authorized professionals of AHCPL as
mutually agreed and accepted in the MOU.
Consultants reporting at client site shall abide by the rules & regulations as laid down
by the client.
All consultants are instructed to be punctual and deliver their services with
commitment.
Consultants should strictly abide by the normal working hours at the client premises.
Looking at the dynamics of the industry (information technology), consultants are
expected to often work beyond office hours comprehensively to meet client project
deadlines.
As agreed mutually, the terms & conditions in the MOU (factors such as status, terms
of employment, salary, benefits, etc) shall remain constant & unchanged for a
minimum period of one year under normal conditions. (here normal conditions is
defined as consultant delivering his/her services as per the expectation of the client
& AHCPL.).
Performance Appraisal at AHCPL is carried out every year in the month of March-April.
Performance Appraisals shall be applicable to all consultants completing minimum
one year at AHCPL.

For all consultants, one paid leave every month shall be granted (with mutual
consent and approval from the client and AHCPL) until confirmation of their
employment at AHCPL. Leaves are not transferable and cannot be accumulated.
AHCPL shall keep all consultants informed regarding organizational changes and
updates pertaining to their interests.
