OBJECTIVES:
This course is the continuation of EMT1101. Its intent is to enable the student to develop a thorough
understanding of advanced algebra and trigonometry. It also introduces coordinate geometry and binary
number system to the student. It establishes the basis for further studies in engineering maths in the
second year.
Assessment:
Assessment will complrise to two short-in-class test (10%), and end-of-semester test (20%) and final
examination (60%)
