III. Android Terminologies/Glossary

A-D
Application Programming Interface. APIs are functions that developers can
call on to access specific features by calling upon programs, code, and services
that others have written.
ARM usually refers to the processor architecture that is most commonly found in
mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.

Baseband: Your phones baseband is, in short, the part of the phone that
handles its radio connections (cellular and Wi-Fi, for example).
Bootloaders: Generally run some initial startup tests and related tasks, then tell
your operating system to start up.
Bootloop: A situation that you dont have access to your phone, stuck in the
bootlogo or boot animation
Dalvik and ART (short for Android Runtime) are, simply put, what allows apps
to run on Android.
DeadBoot: A situation wherein you dont have full access over your phone, even
the recovery , bootlogo, and bootanimation. Phone can be revived with the help of
Odin of Smart Phone Flash Tool
Doze: New in Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Doze is a power-saving feature that

A:Memory Leak is too much consumption of ram of system apps such as

systemui and settings consuming over 60mb of ram. Hindi nagmula ang unit
natin sa 5.0, 5.0.2 kaya Hindi pa fix ang memory leak
T:Pano po maiibsan ang memory leak bug? Pano po maiiwasan ang lag?
A: Una , gamit ka ng greenify, kung nakapaginstall ka na ng xposed, download
mo ung fix memory leak bug kasi yan ang ginamit ng Nexus Users nung wala
pang 5.1 memory leak bug fix update.
Pangalwa,Iwasan ang FB at Messenger Installed sa Device. Kung lagi mong
chine-check ang Running apps mo,mamaw mangain ng ram yan. Almost
100mb of ram kinokonsumo nyan causing occasional lag to users. Kung Hindi
maiiwasan ang FB at Messenger sa Device, Suggest ko na ireboot yang phone
mo kung nababagot kana sa lag
