And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice,

Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.
But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but
speak forth the words of truth and soberness.
For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely:
for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him;
for this thing was not done in a corner.
King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.
Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou,
but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and
altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
Acts 26:24-29 KJV

Go out from here and fully persuade your oyster this world
without compromising our message.
Therefore seeing we have this ministry,
as we have received mercy, we faint not;

Pastor Myron Henderson

New Deliverance Fellowship Conference of Churches

NDFCC is a non-denominational organization that serves the needs of small and independent or
aligned Christian ministries throughout the country. These are ministries that value their independence, but
want to belong to a meaningful and relevant association of committed Christian brothers and sisters. One
goal of NDFC is to serve, if necessary, as a primary or auxiliary resource to small and independent Christian
churches for information, networking, assistance, ministry enhancement, advocacy, and support.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the New Deliverance Fellowship Conference is to assist the local church through
Pastoral Ministry in obtaining its vision as directed by God. This voluntary affiliation of Pastor and
congregation, through the leadership of our Bishop, focuses on "strengthening the things that remain." We will
accomplish this through mentoring, teaching, and training from our Bishop and/or persons whom he deems
qualified to do so. Through the concept of implementing effective physical, mental, and spiritual elements to
ministry, including organization, administration, and proper financial structure so that each local ministry can
meet its maximum potential, NDFC stands ready to covenant with each ministry for the advancement of the
Kingdom of God.

Conference Scripture
Acts 26:24-29 (KJV)

Key Scripture Verses:

Verses
Topic:

Statement of Faith
We Believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative word of God; the product of holy men of God
who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, which is the foundation of our faith (2 Timothy 3:
16); in one God who is maker of all things and who is unlimited in His manifestation toward man. He is God
the Father in creation, God the Son in redemption, and God the Holy Spirit; this Holy Spirit being given and
received by believers who ask to empower them to live a holy and sanctified life that we might be effective in
the service of God and in service to God; We accept the New Covenant as recorded in the New Testament as
our guide pertaining to matters of conduct.

This is an open invitation; therefore, whoever desires to join us is welcome.
Praising God, and having favour with all the people.
And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2:47

Biography

Pastor Anthony Franklin

Pastor Anthony Franklin was born on March 16, 1968, to Mr. and Mrs.
Freddie Franklin. He grew up and attended public schools in Wichita, Kansas.
In 1998, Pastor Franklin and his family moved to Richmond, VA to
continue his career in Law Enforcement. He has received many awards
and commendations while working with the Richmond Police
Department. He was promoted rapidly and has served in many units
within the police department to include: street level narcotics,
recruitment, personnel, mounted patrol and now holds the rank of
Lieutenant in charge of Executive Protection. He has protected such
dignitaries as former Governor L. Douglas Wilder, Mya Angelo, Bill Cosby
and President Barack Obama then Senator. He is now charged with
protecting Dwight C. Jones, the Mayor of Richmond, VA.
Pastor Franklin received Christ and was baptized in Wichita, Kansas. He and First Lady Franklin's
first ministry was with the Marriage Ministry and feeding the homeless. Pastor Franklin accepted
the call to preach the Gospel in 2001. After several years of studying and preaching the Word, he
was led by the Lord to start the Restoration Place. In March 2007, the church was established and
ordained of God to "Restore Faith in a Sacred Place." The purpose of the church is to provide a
home where people can grow in the knowledge and likeness of Jesus Christ and to feel and share
the love of Christ while being resorted. Pastor Franklin has became a primary preacher at the
Richmond City Jail where he brings the Good News of Jesus Christ monthly. The Jail Ministry has
become one of Pastor's passions, having seen hundreds of men and women give their lives to
Christ while incarcerated.
Pastor Franklin obtained a degree in Business from Butler County Community College in Wichita,
Kansas and attended Virginia Union University, Evans-Smith School of Theology. He studies
constantly and is a student of God's Word. He can be best described as a man with great
compassion for the Word of God with an uncensored message strictly from the Word for God's
people. He has a unique way of bringing the scriptures to life and giving them relevance in today's
world. During many of his sermons, Pastor Franklin is known for guiding his listeners from one
verse to the next without notes. It can be said that he preaches strictly from the Bible and has been
known to stand in a chair or two to get his point across.
He is the devoted husband to his wife, Kyra Franklin and a loving father to his children. They are
the proud parents of seven beautiful children, Ciera, Tanai, Antoinette, Letron, Anthony Jr., Nya
and Moses, two adorable grandchildren, Kyra and Lanae and godparents to three other children.
Pastor Franklin, along with his church ambassadors were able to move into their first building in
August of 2010. In a little over two years, The Restoration Place outgrew their first building and
now services are held at their new Worship Center located at 4719 W Broad Street, Richmond, VA.
God continues to send those to be restored and set free from issues and hurts. May God be
praised for using Pastor Anthony Franklin in such a mighty way!

Biography

Bishop Gerald O. Glenn, D. Min.

Bishop G. O. Glenn is the senior pastor and founding visionary
of the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church (NDEC) and the New
Deliverance Christian Academy in Richmond, Virginia. He along with
his wife, Marcietia, organized the ministry in 1995 with God, twenty
people and a one hundred dollar bill. From this humble beginning in a
high school auditorium, Bishop Glenn has grown this God-inspired
ministry to over 2000 members. Under his charismatic leadership and
strong faith principles, New Deliverance became a debt-free ministry
in 2006 when it retired more than two million dollars of debt within an
eight year time span. Plans are now underway for the construction of
Greater New Deliverance Evangelistic Church which will be built on an
adjacent twelve acre parcel.
Bishop Glenn is the founder of the New Deliverance Fellowship
Conference of Churches and President of the New Deliverance
Foundation. He serves as a Chaplain for Chesterfield County. In
September 2011, he accepted the appointment as Chairman of Care
Nets Life Ambassadors Leadership Council. He was elected as
Vice-chair of the Board of Directors of the National Alliance of Faith and Justice. He is the former
presiding officer of The Family Foundation of Virginia-Pastors for Family Values to which he was
appointed in 2007. He is a former member of the Commonwealth of Virginias Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. Memorial Commission and the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Anniversary Subcommittee.
Bishop Glenn has previously served as Co-chair of the Governors statewide Task Force on
Preventing Crime in Minority Communities and Director of Virginias Department of Juvenile
Justice. Bishop Glenn earned an Associates Degree from El Centro College, Dallas, Texas and a
Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from St. Pauls College, Lawrenceville,
Virginia. In 2007, he received the Degree of Doctorate in Ministry from Virginia Triumphant College
and Seminary, Richmond, Virginia.
The Church of God in Christ (COGIC) has been a part of Bishop Glenns roots since
childhood. He has served as pastor of COGIC congregations in both Texas and Virginia. In
January 2006, Bishop Glenn was appointed by the late Presiding Bishop Gilbert E. Patterson and
the General Board as an Auxiliary Bishop in the Church of God in Christ. In November, 2006,
during the 99th Holy Convocation in Memphis, TN, he was formally inducted and consecrated into
the College of Bishops of the Church of God in Christ. In 2004, he led his congregation in fulfilling
a $100,000 pledge to the National Church in support of the Presiding Bishops effort to renovate
the historic Mason Temple.
He can be heard on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:15 AM on WREJ-1540 AM radio, Saturdays
at 10:00 AM on WGGM 820AM (Petersburg). TV broadcasts air on Sundays at 8:30 AM on WTVR
Channel 6 and at 9:00 AM on WTVZ in Norfolk.
Bishop Glenn is married to the woman of his dreams and partner in ministry, Mother Marcietia
Simmons Glenn. They have two sons and three daughters.

The Writing

Fully Persuaded

Congregational Hymn
Acts 26:24-29 KJV

Higher Ground
Abraham didnt stagger in his faith. Rather, he was fully persuaded that,
what God had promised, he was able to perform - Romans 4:21.
He recognized that God is able to work with nothing. Indeed, our Lord creates out of a void.
Consider the Genesis account: out of nothing, God created the world.
With just a single word, he creates. And he can create miracles for us, out of nothing.
When all else fails - when your every plan and scheme has been exhausted that is the time for you to cast everything on God. It is time for you to give up all confidence
in finding deliverance anywhere else. Then, once you are ready to believe,
you are to see God not as a potter who needs clay, but as a Creator who works from nothing.
And, out of nothing that is of this world or its materials,
God will work in ways and means you could never have conceived.
How serious is the Lord about our believing him in the face of impossibilities?
We find the answer to this question in the story of Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist.
Zacharias was visited by an angel who told him that his wife, Elisabeth,
would give birth to a special child. But Zacharias - who was advanced in years,
like Abraham - refused to believe it. Gods promise alone was not enough for him.
Zacharias answered the angel, Whereby (how) shall I know this?
For I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years - Luke 1:18. Simply put,
Zacharias considered the impossibilities. He was saying,
This isnt possible. Youve got to prove to me how it will happen.
It didnt sound reasonable.
Zacharias doubts displeased the Lord. The angel told him,
Behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that
these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words,
which shall be fulfilled in their season (Luke 1:20).
The message is clear: God expects us to believe him when he speaks.
Likewise, Peter writes: Let them that suffer according to the will of God commit
the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator - 1 Peter 4:19.
Now if you are fully persuaded I know you will be uncompromising.
And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself;
much learning doth make thee mad. But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth
the words of truth and soberness. For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely:
for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. Then Agrippa said unto Paul,
Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou,
but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
Acts 26:24-29 KJV

I m pressing on the upward way

New heights I'm gaining every day
Still praying as I onward bound
"Lord, plant my feet on higher ground."
My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay
Tho' some may dwell where these abound
My prayer, my aim is higher ground.
I want to live above the world
Tho' satan's darts at me are hurled
For faith has caught the joyful sound
The song of saints on higher ground.
I want to scale the utmost height
And catch a gleam of glory bright
But still I'll pray till heaven I've found
"Lord, lead me on to higher ground."
Chorus
Lord, lift me up and let me stand
By faith on heaven's table land
A higher plane than I have found
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
