This course will provide you with a practical application of
reminders and recalls in medical software (MD3 and Best
Practice). Learn how to implement information management
systems to effectively increase uptake of cancer screening
programs, optimise business opportunities and demonstrate
continuity of care in your practice as per RACGP
Accreditation requirements.

Session Outline

Managing patient recalls and reminders

Adding, viewing and modifying patient recalls and reminders in clinical areas
eg cancer screening
Developing, modifying and executing outstanding action lists
Generating a patient recall and reminder list in clinical areas
Flagging of patient health records for opportunistic preventive activities
using the Red Book (RACGP Guidelines for Preventive Activities in General
practice) and Green Book (RACGP Putting Prevention Into Practice)

Presenter
With qualifications in Adult Education, Business Administration, Training &
Assessment Katrina has a personable and effective approach. She is currently an
approved trainer for MedicalDirector and Best Practice Software with extensive
medical software experience. In 2015, Katrina worked with over 100 different
practices and trained over 1000 health professionals. She is a publications contributor
to NEHTA, Pulse IT, Medical Director, Tyro, Avant (Practice Managers Resource
Centre).
