Program Description:
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is supporting the
development of future inventors among the youth through the conduct of workshops
that teach them to craft solutions to solve the countrys pressing concerns.
You may indicate here the goal of your school in nurturing future engineers or
inventors.
DOST, through the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI), has
developed a program entitled Invent Schools Program, which aims to stimulate
the creativity and innovativeness of the students and promote awareness on
intellectual property rights.
The Invent School Program (ISP) involves the conduct of a two-day seminar
workshop in private and public schools in cooperation with inventors groups, LGUs
and NGOs to stimulate students interest for creativity and inventiveness and create
awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), prototype development and
commercialization of inventions. The program provides an opportunity for students
not only to develop their creativity and potentials but also to awaken their true
ingenuity. ISP serves as a starting ground for young Filipino inventors.
Objectives:
