FAQ - Reshuffling Test


1. What is Reshuffling Test?
The Reshuffling test is to align students to batches which give them maximum benefit. Students
are placed in their batches based on their ability to understand the concepts. This enables us to
cater to individual needs to achieve their goals. Also the confidence level of the students will
increase as the batches will be homogeneous to certain extent.
2. What benefit will students get from this Reshuffling test?
Students come to us in class 9 and 11 from different academic backgrounds Samacheer
kalvi/CBSE/ICSE. This test helps them to take a common test and bring out their innate needs.
And also special attention by our faculty towards the specific need of the students.
3. With whom do we need to compete in this Reshuffling test?
There is no competition at all. All students of a particular Lot take this test to identify their
needs and abilities.
4. Do all the students have to appear for this test?
Yes. It is mandatory.
5. If student has not performed well in this exam, what will be the other options?
He may go to lower order batches based on his overall ranking. But it gives an opportunity to
know his/her mistakes and helps him/her to work in that direction so that they wont commit
such mistakes in future. Faculty will also train the students in that direction and as a result
students will not be repeating such mistakes in their final exams.
6. What is the difference between lower order and higher order batches?
There is no difference as such in teaching, or material to be given, or in the conduction of
examinations. It is only to assist the students and take them to the better performing levels
from the current level.
7. If my ward is absent for this exam, will there be any retest?
No retest will be conducted. And will be awarded zero marks for preparing the merit list.
8. What will be the syllabus and pattern for this Test?
Class 11th curriculum which is taught in four phases in the last academic year is the syllabus and
pattern will not be disclosed.
9. Will my ward gets less benefit from FIITJEE, if he/she does not perform well in this exam?
There is no discrimination in teaching/package /methodology/faculty for any batch. All will get
the same benefit from FIITJEE. The main aim is to make the students to understand their current
position and to help them to perform better in the next academic year.

10. Is package, Exam, Teaching methodology, teaching hours and level of faculty are same for all
batches?
No discrimination and everything will be same.
11. If I get selected for first batch in reshuffling test, what are my probable chances of getting into
IIT?
Getting into IIT does not depend on the batch you are in. It has more to do with ones attitude
towards studies and rigorous & focused preparation.
12. Will my enrollment and batch code change after reshuffling exam?
Enrollment number remains the same while batch code changes for administrative purposes.
13. Will previous performance of the student be considered for reshuffling?
It may be considered if the need arises.
14. What are all the other performances that will be considered for reshuffling?
Annual examination marks conducted by School and Reshuffling examinations conducted by
FIITJEE.
15. Will there be any weightage to my wards attendance/attitude in class/feedback from faculty?
It may be considered if the need arises.
16. Why cant the batch be based on the mid-phase test, chap test or Phase test?
Moreover, reshuffling is designed to identify students needs and place him/her in a batch
where he/she gets optimum support. This can be done only on certain amount of sizeable
syllabus. That is why it is conducted on entire class 11th curriculum.
17. How can you decide my wards ability with one test? You can conduct more tests?
This test is not a deciding factor for your childs ability. It only paves the way for strengthening
the foundation so that he/she develops confidence in further academic performance.
18. What will happen if any student is found doing malpractice in the examination?
We will have strict invigilation and however if any student is found in indulging so, he/she will be
awarded zero marks in that paper.
19. What are the tips for performing better in the Reshuffling examination?
Students shall revise all the concepts of class 11th thoroughly. Please clarify the doubts (if any)
with your teachers immediately. Do not get tensed, be cool and perform to the best of your
ability.
20. What is the suggestion to parents for this reshuffling examination?
As always, please motivate your ward and see that he/she is free from the tension. Performing
at his/her best ability is important. Do not worry on the batch that he/she will be getting as it
has no significance as far as final IIT JEE examination is concerned. We have many examples,
where the students from lower order batches have made it to IITs and NITs with their serious
and dedicated working. Please do not give much importance to the batch, rather you motivate
the child to improve from there, which is more important in life.
