Unusual
Punishment

man who referred to the police as pigs

has been given a very strange punishment
in Auckland, New Zealand. He was ordered
to spend a day at a pig farm so that he could learn
the difference between police officers and the
animals in question. He also had to write an essay
on his experiences on the farm. He wrote that he
was very drunk at the time and that, since then,
he has given up drinking. However, in spite of his
apology, he did add that the word pig is in the
Oxford English Dictionary and is commonly used
to describe the police, albeit in a derogatory way.
