Abstract
Hepatitis is a problem of society in the world , including Indonesia . In 2013 , 1 in 5 children or
about 21.8 million children worldwide does not obtain immunizations . Every year more than 1.4
million children in the world die from diseases that could have been avoided by immunization .
According to the department of health , hepatitis B 0 immunization coverage in Indonesia in
2012 reached 85.6 % . This study aims to determine the factors associated with hepatitis B 0-7
days immunization in infants aged 7 days to 12 months at Puskesmas Kelurahan Sukabumi Utara
and Kedoya Utara in June 2016. The factors researched include birth weight, maternal
occupation, maternal education, maternal knowledge, birth attendant, and the support of
husband associated with hepatitis B 0-7 days immunization. This study used observational study
design with cross-sectional approached. The sampling technique used is the consecutive
sampling technique. The instrument used in this study are questionnaires and Kartu Menuju
Sehat. The analysis used is Fisher Exact Test with significance level of 5% with a confidence
level of 95% using SPSS v23. The statistical test showed a significant relationship between
mother's education, mother's knowledge, and the husband support with hepatitis B 0-7 days
immunization (p = 0.006, p = 0.038, p = 0.021).
