Hey Laura,
When you come out of executive session after approving the minutes for the past
four executive sessions will a PDF be made available that you or Deb could
email me, in addition to hard copy which I assume you plan to make available to
the audience?

No problem. I know how that works. Or, sometimes, doesn't
work.

GoodMorning Larry,
I have only been authorized to release the amended copy and am concerned
andhesitant especiallynow that the draft minutes are in the hands ofthe
Gazette. I'll call Tom this morning to see what the next step should be. I just
want to cover myself as I am releasing them in my capacity as a school
committee member.
Thanks for understanding and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Since the Gazette has seen fit to publish the full version of the four executive
session minutes and the RSC has not yet approved that, could I please get the
"amended" version that was approved by the RSC at their last meeting.

And could I also please get a copy of the "demand letter" from Maria Geryk
handed out at the July 20 executive session by attorney Tom Columb and then
repossessed by him.

Hey Deb,
I believe Ms. Kent, after the most recent 3 hour executive session, said they
would be available "in the morning" and that was many days ago.

Larry,
Many days ago was a total of two business days (8/18 and 8/19). I have
had email correspondence with you over the weekend and the leak of the
draft executive session minutes has prompted me to pause in releasing the
amended minutes at this time. When I talk to the Attorney Generals office
regarding the matter, I will follow up with you.

By law, we have 10 days to respond to your public records request. I would

appreciate your understanding that members of the committees are volunteers
and do not work 7 days a week.

Thanks. Have a great Monday.

Hey Laura,
Sorry, I'm on digital time (which is 24/7, seven days a week).
Seems to me you have no choice but to release the "amended" documents as
that is what your Committee voted to release (probably by unanimous vote?) "two
business" days ago.
The original demand letter from Maria Geryk presented at the first executive
session may be something you wish to not release but that is separate from the
amended executive session minutes already approved.
But should you decide not to release that particular document, I will of course
appeal it to the Public Documents Division of the Secretary of State's office as
believe it or not they are still in business even with the AG setting up their
Division of Open Government.
