All About Me

This year 4th Graders will have the opportunity to present

information about themselves by sharing it on the Smart board.
The assignment is meant to be a fun way for the students to
share about themselves and will meet 4th grade standards.
CCRA.SL.5 Make strategic use of digital media and visual displays of data to express information and
enhance understanding of presentations.

Below are some guidelines to make the presentation a success.

Suggested Programs
PowerPoint: Presents words and images in slide show format. You will need to
have this Microsoft program downloaded on your computer at home to utilize.
Prezi: This is an online presentation program available at prezi.com
Shutterfly: Your child can create a photo book on this website with photos and
captions and share it with us. Its available at shutterfly.com
YouTube or School tube: School tube is a video website similar to YouTube but
intended be academic . Its available at schooltube.com
Google Presentations- Students have the ability to create a slide presentation
using their school or home Google chrome account.
The above programs are suggestions. There are many other programs to use. You
will need to be able to send the file, save it to a flash drive or share it with us in
some way such as a link.

Guidelines
Tell us about YOU (ex. sports, hobbies, family, pets, interests, vacations, favorite
activities, birthdays, awards, favorite things or anything else youd like us to
know)

Include at least 10 ideas, slides, pages, images ( This will depending on your
format)
Include at least 5 graphics ( photos, pictures, video clips ) on the pages

Present the information to the class using your program during your assigned
week

Please sign and return the attached slip below so we know that you are aware of the
assignment and due date.
