Summary: Tarun Kanti Das is an internationally acknowledged Macroeconomic Modeling
Expert with more than three decades working experiences in India, Bangladesh, Dubai (UAE),
the Gambia, Mongolia, Nepal and Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC)
countries. He possesses diversity of skills in research, training, teaching, modeling and policy
planning. He has many publications on macroeconomic modeling and forecasting. He is a Gold
Medalist in Quantitative Economics from the Calcutta University and possesses a Ph.D. degree
in Applied Econometrics from the University of East Anglia, England.
