CHECKLIST: REGISTRATION

During the Registration days of the Introduction programme, all the students are expected to bring the necessary
documents (printed in hardcopy) to complete your formal registration at TU Delft. If you are a MSc/BSc you will receive
an email with a link to a schedule where you can make your personal registration appointment, and if you are an
Exchange student you can make your personal registration appointment via your application form.

Documents
A valid Passport (all students) or Identity card (EU/EFTA students only);
Three (3) copies of your Passport or Identity card clearly showing your personal details, photo, signature, and the
date of validity (Depending on your nationality, it may involve printing one or more pages);
Two (2) copies of your MVV Visa stamped on the page in your Passport (if applicable);
A copy of your Dutch (health) insurance policy (or confirmation of the application for a Dutch health insurance), or
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for EU/EFTA students;
Two (2) copies of your rental contract (all students);
A copy of your Birth Certificate (in English); All city councils may require a birth certificate. Some cities are more
strict than others. Delft and the Hague are less strict. For more information on legalizing documents, click here
And if applicable: All documents concerning fellowships or scholarships you have been granted;
Your personal laptop and NetID for configuration related purpose

For Admissions office:


Your original academic degree or a certified* copy of your original academic degree;
A certified* translation in English, French, German of Dutch of your original academic degree (if the original
document is NOT in one of these languages);
Your original final transcript or a certified* copy of your original final transcript;
A certified* translation in English, French, German of Dutch of your original final transcript (if the original document
is NOT in one of these languages);
Your original English test score report or a certified* copy of your English test score report in case you have taken a
Cambridge English test. In case you have taken a TOEFL/IELTS test, we can check your results online and you do
not need to bring a certified copy of the test score report.

*Certified copies are copies with an official stamp to verify that these are true copies of the original documents. This official stamp
may be from either a solicitor/notary, the educational institution from where you obtained the degree(s), an embassy or the local
council/local authority/local government office. Certified translations may alternatively bear the original logo and the original stamp
of the sworn translator who made the translation. If you do not have a certified copy but you do have an original, bring the original
with a normal photocopy to the Registration in Delft. Then we will sign and stamp the copy as a true copy for our files, and you will
be able to take the original back home again.
