Blessings of Khilafat
The rays of light that illuminate our world are so
weak in their nature that even fine curtains can stop
their way. But when these rays are gathered together
at a single point we call these rays the LASERS and
even thick sheets of metals cant stop them from
penetrating through them. Same is the case with the
human society. The righteous Godly persons are
scattered here and there giving their own limited
light like a lamp in the dark of night and thus facing
the persecution at the hands of the material world.
But when they found a center at the hand of Khilafat,
they are so much strengthened that nothing in the
world can stop them from progressing, both
spiritually and materially. Allah the exalted has
described this phenomena in verse no 57 of chapter
Al-Nur in the Holy Quran, where He promises his
people as:
Allah has promised those among you who
believe in Him and do good deeds that He will
establish among them the blessed institution of
Khilafat, and thus he will establish their faith in the
earth, which He has chosen for them, and will change
their condition of fright with a condition of peace
and contentment. They will worship Him and only
Him and will not associate with Him any partners.
And whoever will be ungrateful after this great
blessing so he will be a great sinner.
While peeping through the dusks and dawns of
history we observe that most of the promises that
were made with the Holy Prophets of Allah were
fulfilled during the times of their Caliphs, like the land
promised to Hazrat Moses was given to the Jews in

the times of Hazrat Joshua, the preaching of Jesus

got pace in the time of his successors, Rome and
Persia which were to be given to the Holy Prophet
(S.A.W), as he saw in his vision, were conquered in
the times of Khulafa-e-Rashideen, and the kings
sought blessings from the garments of the Promised
Messiah (a.s) in the times of the present series of
Khulafas. This phenomenon makes it manifest that
Prophet Hood and Khilafat are not two different
institutions but they are two different manifestations
of a single station as the Promised Messiah (A.S) has
denoted it in Al-Wasiyyat.
Hazrat Mirza Basheer Ahmad Sahib R.A says:
"God Almighty does everything through wisdom
and foresight, and there is always a good reason and
logic behind it. According to natures physical laws,
man has only a limited life span, but the task of
reformation and training of society requires a much
longer time. So, Allah has established the system of
Khilafat after the system of Prophethood. The
Khalifah continues and carries on the task of the
Prophet. The seed sown by the Prophet is protected
and nurtured by the Khalifah till it becomes a strong
and sturdy tree. It shows that in fact Khilafat is an
offshoot or branch of the system of Prophethood, that
is why the Holy Prophet sa says that after every
Prophet, the system of Khilafat is established." (taken

Khilafat protects its followers from Going astray
and falling into the deep ditch of the temptations
and terbulances. In Sahih Bukhari a hadees says that
Hazrat Huzaifa relates that Umer Said 'Who
amongst you remembers the statement of Allah's
Apostle (p.b.u.h) about afflictions? I said I know it as

the Prophet had said it. Umer Said: No Doubt you are
bold. How did he say it? I said, " A man's afflictions
concerning his wife , children and neighbors are
expiated by his prayers, charity and enjoining good".
Umer said: I did not mean that, but I ask about that
affliction which will spread like the waves of the sea. I
said O chief of the believers, you need not be afraid
of it as there is a closed door between you and it. He
asked, will the door be broken or opened I replied no
it will be broken.

Now from what history has shown us, we can
easily comprehend that this door was Khilafat.
Muslims remained out of those afflictions and
temptations that were like a flood to destroy the
whole Muslim Character from the world, they all
started after the end of Khilafat e Rashida and Now
when after 1400 years this door has regained its
strength and is fixed and the new era of Khilafat e
Rashida has begun we are again guarded against
these evils and temptations.
This is the fact that the companions of the Holy
Prophet knew before hand. This is why when
Hazrat Usman(R.A) was martyred, Hazrat Hanzala
said:

...

That I am amazed at what people are talking

about. they want to eradicate Khilafat, if it so happen
they won't get any blessing afterwards and what
they will get will only be disgrace and insult.
And after Khilafat there will remain no difference
between a Muslim and a Jew or a Christian and every

one of them

Moreover the advancement of Islam is directly
related to Khilafat. Hazrat Khalifatul Maseeh the 2nd
Said:

Islam can never progress without Khilafat. It was
always the case that Islam has progressed under
Khilafat and in future as well Islam will progress
under Khilafat.
Our beloved Imam Hazrat Khalifatul Maseeh
AlKhamis (A.B.A) says:

i-e The Jammat who knows the real status and
lofty place of the Promised Messiah understands that
the real thing is to remain intact with Khilafat. This is
the source of unity in Jammat, this is the source of
progress in Jammat, this is the source which enables

us to refute the arguments posed by the enemies of

Ahmadiyyat and Islam because according to Devine
promises, in this time of revival of Islam God's Favor and
His Divine support is Interlinked with Khilafat.

So now if we want to be the receivers of the

Divine Support and help we should seek these
blessings under the guidance of Khilafat. In the end I
would like to draw your attention towards the Oath
that we had taken on the day of Khilafat centenary
which is often repeated and which reminds us of the
ways in which we can get more and more blessings
through the institution of Khlafat.
I end up with a quote from the sayings of Hazrat
Mirza Basheer ud Deen Mahmood Ahmad, the second
caliph of the Pomised Messiah. He says:

O friends! My last advice to you is that all
blessings are due to Khilafat. Prophet hood sows a
seed and then Khilafat makes it reach the corners of
earth. You keep a strong bond with the true Khilafat
and spread its blessings in the worldso that Allah
shows His mercy on you and He promotes and exalts
you in this world and in the hereafter.
