Importance

It is a common day practice that we see the dispersed light
enlightening the dark world, but these light rays have no strength
even curtains can stop them .but when the same light rays get a
common point to join together they are known as laser and become
so strengthened that nearly nothing in this world can stop them from
penetrating through it. Same is the case with the people of a holy
community. They are bind together through khilafat which is their
strength and hence nothing in this world can stop them from
progress.
Khalifa is the vicegerent of rasool. And the purpose of rasool
given in the verse recited in the beginning is He is the One, Who has
send His rasool for the unlettered from among them so that he recite
His verses on them and purify them and teach them the book and the
wisdom and surely before that they were in manifest error.
This verse shows that the only way out of the manifest errors is
to walk under the guidance of the Imam and we can get his guidance
only when we listen to what he say.
A few weeks ago hadhrat khalifatul Masih <may Allah help
him>related an incidence which I quote. He said that there was
couple having great disputes among themselves and every effort to
resolve the matter was in vain. When the report reached huzoor he
said," I think they do not listen to my sermons. On probing the matter
the fact was the same that they were not listening to sacred sermons
of the holy imam.
Yes, the sermons of the imam is the thing which gives us peace
in our homes and outsides. These are the treasures which the
Promised Messiah was said to distribute. As in the modern world
where hypertension, high blood-pressures and heart attacks are
ruling the world, the greatest treasure is the peace of mind. And about
the proud one who does not take these treasures promised messiah
has said:He who does not listen to the speeches of the appointed one, the
messenger of Allah and does not ponder over his writings has a part
of ego in him. So try hard to save yourself from this ego that you may
not be destructed and along with your family you are safe.

At another place describing his dream he said:I saw that a few members of my community wrestling. I said,
Come, I relate to you a dream but they didnt come. I said why
dont you hear? The one who does not listen to the words of God is a
dweller of hell.

Respected audience! Today we are lucky that we have an easy
access to these sacred words. So it is our foremost duty to listen to
the sermons of Ameerul Momenin and obey the instruction of the
Holy prophet;

That you are obliged to listen and to act accordingly. May Allah
enable us do so.
