E48 ROM Bin Wall steelwork Defective connections, local web buckling of main members and
deformed plate work were observed.
E48 ROM Bin Floor supports Sheared bolts and bent connection cleats observed.

Other Comments: Discussed with NPM the need to immediately address the connections of the E48 ROM Bin
wall due to the significant reduction of structural capacity. It is likely that due to the observed concrete wall
convergence, more bolts have been affected or have no additional room to allow slippage. The total loss of
bolts (4 observed) will basically redistribute stresses transferring the load elsewhere causing overload and hence
reducing structural redundancy. This issue requires urgent attention.
