This section summarizes the highlights of the study, feasibility and viability
of the proposed business in the market. It also describes the business, the
management, the operation and the processes of the firm.
Business Name
The MARZACANA INCORPORATED is formerly known as KIREJ and
ARZACANA and later on was changed into MARZACANA when the two groups
decided to merge for a bigger market plan. The MARZACANA INC. is named after
its proponents, wherein syllables from their names were combined into one. The
proponents names are Marie Kit, Aries, Rizza, Catherine and Ana. Like any other

business names, MARZACANA symbolizes unified spirits aiming to be known, to


be patronized by every consumer, and to be recognized both locally and globally.
Location of the Business
The proponents decided to put up the business in an urban barangay
because it is a typical place where products like pastillas are acceptable and
consumable to all ages. The MARZACANA INCORPORATED will be located at
Banaybanay Crossing, Lipa City, Batangas. The chosen location for the business
establishment provides a good opportunity because it draws many people and
employees into the area. It is also the hub for public transportation and there is
a high level of pedestrian traffic.
The location is also an advantage because the supplies of the raw
materials needed is near the vicinity of the business. Through this, the expenses
would be lessened.
Marketing Plan
The market study is very important because it is the life blood of the
project feasibility study.
Through the use of customers and retailers questionnaires, the
proponents knew that the proposed product has a great potential in the
market. This chapter summarizes the customer references in buying the
product and different analysis that would help determine if the proposed

business can penetrate into the market. The firms strengths, weaknesses,
possible opportunities and threats are being analyzed in this section.
The proponents also gave emphasis on different advertising strategies to
effectively spread awareness about the existence of the product which is the
squashtillas.

Providing sample products, using tarpaulins and leaflets are

provided by the firm as their promotional ads.


Technical Plan
In general, the objectives of the study includes the product description
process involve in the production, the quantity and quality of the proposed
product and the product system. Twenty-four packs (40 pcs. in one container) of
squashtillas will be the finished product after 8 hours. The manufacturing plant
of MARZACANA INCORPORATED will be located at one of the proponents house
in Banaybanay Crossing, Lipa City. Direct labor is also considered in the
production of the proposed product. Five workers are required in managing and
performing the procedures with positive and proactive attitude. Proper waste
disposal of the company is also determined in this chapter. The amount of
expenses for the operation of the business is also determined.

Management Plan
This chapter discusses the capital contribution given by each member of
the business. The initial capital of MARZACANA Incorporated is amounting to Php
150,000 where each of contributed Php 30,000 for the operation.
The company also presented the organizational structure which consists of
the person in-charge in each activity. It also presents a set of job specifications
and descriptions that would serve as a guide in hiring employees. All executives
and workers will receive a salary every 15th and 30th of the month.
The business will also provide benefits such as SSS and Pag-ibig for the
workers safety and security as well as the 13 th month salary as an additional
benefit.
Organizational policies were also determined to have smooth flow of
activities within the organization. It is implemented to serve as rules and
regulation for every employees action. Complying with all the legal requirements
for the business to be legal as well as the fees and licenses needed to operate
MARZACANA Inc. have also been discussed.
Financial Plan
This chapter focuses on the analysis of profitability and feasibility of the
project where profitability measures the ability of the business to generate profit.
This helps determine whether the project or business will be viable to the market
or not.

The selling price of squashtillas will be Php 3.63 to retailers and Php 4.00
to the consumers. MARZACANA INCORPORATED will have an annual production
of 288,000 pieces of squashtillas in the first year of operation and will be
reaching 350,066 pieces in the fifth year of operation.
Socio-Economic Contribution
This chapter deals with the societal and economical relationship of the
business as to its contribution to the economy, such as the ability to give more
employment as well as to gain social acceptance from the customers.
Furthermore, it deals on how to give great impacts to the undertaking of
business works which will be another useful matter to make an assurance that
the business established is in the verge of the effectiveness and efficiency in
terms of its operation.
In establishing business, the proponents are helping Lipa City to improve
its socio-economic aspect and to gain profit as well. That would also help the
proposed firm to have a great impact which is to give a positive image in the
market.
