To the Competent Person

1.0 This Petroleum-Filling Station Inspection Audit Report is to be filled in electronically by the Competent Person and subsequently sent to the Malta Resources Authority.
2.0 The report is to be signed in wet ink both by the Competent Person as well as by the Authorised Provider.
3.0 Start off the exercise by auditing the petroleum-filling station against the items listed in Part 1 of the Report i.e. 'Audit Inspection Report' tab.
4.0 Verify compliance or otherwise of each item and mark "Ok", "Not Ok" or "N/A" as appropriate by selecting from the drop down menu under the 'Result' Column. Nonmandatory items that are already available in the petroleum-filling station are also expected to be up to the required standards.
5.0 You may also comment appropriately for each item in the respective area provided under 'Comments'.
6.0 You may also record additional items as you deem appropriate under the last heading of Part 1 entitled: 'Other (Please fill-in as appropriate)'
7.0 Proceed by selecting 'Part2 - Corrective Actions' and list in this section the necessary corrective actions together with the respective target date as agreed with the
Authorised Provider. All items that are expected to be up to the required standards that have been marked as "Not OK" should be listed in this sheet. This sheet will
eventually be used again to verify completeness (or otherwise) of the corrective action by inserting the date and initialising under the heading "Implementation date"
8.0 Finally please fill-in the data and particulars in the respective sections as required in the 'Front Page' tab. This sheet also gives the a summary of the Inspection Audit.
Depending on your judgement please suggest the date when another updated report shall be due.
9.0 Take the time necessary to explain to the Authorised Provider the contents of the audit and resultant implications of the findings.
10.0 Please select simultaneously the first three tabs of the file and print making sure that the 'Active Sheet(s)' is selected from the 'Print What' menu. This gives the correct
number of overall pages (approx 10) intended to be printed You may also print additional copies of the report for your reference.
11.0 Please sign the Report in Section 3.0 and eventually hand a copy to the Authorised Provider to sign section 6.0 and hand over to the MRA.
12.0 Any corrective actions that have been implemented before the 'next report due date' shall be indicated by updating and sending to the MRA the sheet 'Part2 - Corrective
