To help raise money to fund my unique and highly impactful Oncology
Nursing Fellowship Program in Susans loving memory, I am planning to participate in a Golf Marathon on September 26th at Innis Arden Golf Club from sun-up to sun-down where I will attempt to play 100 holes of golf. All money raised will go directly to support the cost of my wonderful Flynn Fellows (i.e. summer Interns), who receive an average stipend of $5,000 per Intern. This year the program was expanded to include Boston Childrens Hospital, Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, Childrens National Medical Center, Hartford Hospital, NC Cancer Center, and UCONN Health Center plus several additional leading nursing schools. A summary of all the participating cancer hospitals and nursing schools is attached. Also included are testimonials from some of my recent Flynn Fellows which attest to the impact and value of this Fellowship program. Including the36 Fellows in this summers program, a total of 73 aspiring Oncology Nurses have completed this Fellowship program so far!
