Dear Alumni, Parents, Students, Teachers, Staff Members and Friends of Wah Yan,

Marathon 2017

Further to our appeal for enrolment and donation in September, I am most pleased to inform
you that we have manage to recruit 162 runners for the 2017 Race (due to happen on 12 February
2017), with around $120,000 received as donations thus far.

Your generosity of over $7 million in the past had enabled our Schools to provide professional
coaching to help students improve their physiques, mental strength and pursue new heights in
different sport. To date, 20 sports teams are competing in Division One of the Inter-School
competitions and open events. Most importantly, these young men grow up stronger, more
responsible and resilient, and be able to care about other people in need. These are the leaders we
need to carry our society and community forward.

I am therefore appealing to you again to support our young men by making donations, with a
view to achieving the HK$1 million for sports development in the Schools. As an incentive, all alumni
and friends can get a team tee (limited edition of 10th Anniversary) by a donation of $500 each
(maximum 2 tees per donor). I am also inviting you to attend our training clinics below:
